Build guide for a new base I came up with. Trap heaven basically and is capable of taking on insane difficulty gamestage 500+ with 64 zombies. Best part is it's not an invincible infinite looping cheese base :P.  Enjoy

Hello survivors ! In our MP game during the early days of Alpha 19, we went for our "usual" Horde Base design, which failed badly when too many demolishers appeared on Day 56 ! Now at Day 91, this video presents our new concept, to fight in an open field for the Horde Night ! Seriously mitigating the impact of demos ! Open Field Horde Bases Tour! So I was driving around on my motorcycle just now and I've come across this burried box in the middle of a lake.  What is it, does it have a purpose? It has not solid surface, just flashes purple and yellow with quuestion marks all over it..

A thread over in General Discussion got into wolves attacking (or sometimes not) zombies in the wild. That led me to run some simple tests about which animals would beat which zombies and vice versa. Which I presented to the forum in neat tabular form. BORING Several people asked me if I had videos of the fights. "No," I replied, "I don't even know exactly how to record and edit videos, but maybe I'll look into it." I have since looked into it. And being the type of looking-into-things tech geek that I am, I really kinda went maybe too far. And but so, embedded below is just a taste of what I am doing. the grafix feeling ( all ultra +) is like the great good games every made (like crysis, mafia1, stalker,battefield1) this special reel deep feeling that u have when u play the game...i LOVE IT  (and on the grafix cards u can cook ur meal XD) youtube > actionfoto24 channel (when u want to see a vid from it) EDIT: yes its a curved monitor (samsung chg 90) u dont see the curved  so hard when u play on curved monitor

If you are into building, love mining and gathering resources, and you want to be as efficient as possible, then you are going to like this base design. Find a flat area with an ore vain and every day, little by little, dig out the ground. Then, with all the space free, start putting traps and bars at the bottom of the pit, making it a meat grinder. Dig tunnels and big rooms in the ground to make a massive base. Not even you are setting up a middle-late game base, but you get lots of resources that you would need anyways.

I've played on my own stand alone and have found random holes but... this is footage from A19 b173 on a vanilla server.  No idea what caused this or others found but they cant be filled. Another player on the server lost part of his house and cant rebuild...  Anyone else find this? CDN MeatShield

Biscoitoso has asked to see my horde base. Here are some screen shots of my latest setup at Navesgane. It is a pillbox surrounded with blade traps, and a punch turret on top to deal with vultures on horde night. Currently working on fallback positions for catastrophic failures, but so far that is not very likely. 

Has anyone seen a floating, colorful (changes colors) square with a question mark in Alpha 19 (b173)?   It appears and when I get close to it, I can't touch it, manipulate it, and sometimes disappears.  It has a purplish hue to it.  picture is below.  

Food is quite hard to come by in Darkness Falls, so I started a 'secret garden' so to speak, right on the edge of the Desert Biome, where it meets the Forest Biome. Enjoy! Orange trees, apple trees, coconut trees. Carrots, tomatoes and potatoes!

Someone told me bladetraps no longer triggered demolisher zombies, so i had to test it of course. During testing i found that zombie will try to path over the middle of a bladetrap. And with that in mind, i made a small contraption to make use of it. Apart from explosives, i don't think i've killed zombies so fast before. Quite expansive when it comes down to repairs though. VERY brutal video, and loud. Update: Most issues with the demolisher was caused by a design flaw not in the videos. Update2: Horde night test (with sad music).
