Well, yes of course they are. As they should be.I bet the fun pimps are off enjoying their vacation instead of @%$#ing fixing this @%$#. Bull@%$#.
But that’s the thing, I went through the whole EULA thing and couldn’t continue my game, as it was greyed out and I also had this console/input line box thingy. I didn’t try to start a new game, though…I doubt its the issue we are having, as you'll find as soon as u get thro the EULA it auto saves which in turn corrupts the cloud save, thus keeping our saves from being recoverable using that method.
Its infuriating as I've lost a world which my partners brother last played on before he passed away so everything we build together is gone as it was the last game we played together, so im @%$#ed as ive lost not just a game save but a digital memorial for him.
So far nothing from the devs in the news wire
I have no idea how you can tell if the cloud save is okay, but my guess is it’s only over written when you’re actually playing the game, or when you close down the game? This is what I did:How do you know if the save is on the cloud and how do you retrieve it? I wouldn’t mind losing a couple hours but I’m on day like 100 so definitely don’t want to start all over.
I’ve tried that when it first happened and it didn’t worked. I’ll try again after I’ll get back to the country.I have no idea how you can tell if the cloud save is okay, but my guess is it’s only over written when you’re actually playing the game, or when you close down the game? This is what I did:
I had deleted my local save files on the Xbox.
Done that so many times with the legacy version, to avoid the MD5 error.
you need to go into the game settings. Scroll to the game, push the button with the 3 lines.
if the game is still active you should see a shutdown option towards the end. I think the second to last is the save settings (my settings are in Dutch, but any other language it probably in the same location)
it worked for me, although first time I tried to deleted the setting there weren’t any settings. There should be, so I restarted my Xbox and then was able to delete them. Then it took 2 tries to get the save from the cloud, got an error the first time but kept trying.
Seems some other people (in one of the Facebook groups) tried View attachment 33029View attachment 33030View attachment 33031t able to get it back though, so I can’t guarantee if it’s a 100 %fix…..

PSN offers slightly over 100GB cloudstorage, good sugestion!... if consoles have a limited amount of cloud saves(?) I would suggest to not start as many new games as there are cloud saves so that the inaccesible save isn't rotated out.

Thank god I found this community forum. I was wigging out that it was just me.
I have the EXACT same issue. Played yesterday with 0 issues and try to play today only to get the EULA agreement thing pop up and then boom continue game greyed out.
Whoever commented saying they found the save file I ended up also being able to do same after seeing that comment which gives me relief it's there somewhere and they hopefully fix this @%$#. Though it seems to be gradually affecting more and more people as some of you have had this issue for a week and it only happened to me today...
Seriously hope they fix this ASAP.....
All we can do is raise more awareness for the issue, sorry to hear about this happening after your surgery mate.Im In the same boat and im p##sed about it. Ive now had 3 play throughs do this on xbox series x Playing from Australia. This is pathetic guys. Reading through the posts and seeing devs take little to no responsibility is absolutely weak. Ive lost a combined 400 hours of play. After my first 2 big games ( one thats was on day 380) i started making sure to save, exit to main menu then shut down my xbox. This morning its happened again. I cant continue with my saved games, they arnt even visible unless i look in my xbox saved datela. You have killed this game for what? More realistic bunny rubbits? Seriously im beyond angry. Saying " more console users would have reported the issue " is a weak cop out, i myself didnt even think to join the games page untill i finally found something about it on a reddit post. Seems like excuses are easier to come up with than a fix for the problem YOU have created. Ive been stuck at home after a major surgery and gaming is pretty much all i can do atm. Seriously pathetic.
Id just gottn back to level 100, gad a full concrete base and all my fav weapons back only to lose it all again. Up to u but it'll most likely happen again.I'm on xbox an had a EULA agreement update last week an lost my game as continue game was greyed out an then it happened again this morning an lost game again, that's 2 save in 2 weeks an about 40 hours of progress lost, it's putting me of playing this great game through fear losing all my hard work.
You people? You mean paying customers? Kick rocks champ.I'd bet after the holiday break they will figure it out ASAP. You people gotta realize the time of year it is. I'd bet all of TFP are on vacation right now, as they should be. So whining that they aren't here personally responding to each person with the issue is a bit silly. Have some patience.
Yes, we are paying customers but the age of slavery is over. They have to fix the issue ASAP but in normal working hours. You people? You mean paying customers? Kick rocks champ.
My first was at day 380. My second was day 70 something and my most recent was day 41. Both losses were after the eula. So it seems like days past are all over the placeJust happened to me again (twice now). First, I got Xbox is syncing 7D2D data ... Then EULA. Now I have 2 saves that are unplayable. Could this be a number of days played thing? How many IRL days between having to accept the EULA? For me, so far, every 15 days I have to accept the EULA and loose the save. Something else I noticed today, I declined the EULA. Didn't matter, still took me to the main menu and still let me start a new game.
Is that in-game days or actual days played? My first was at day 380. My second was day 70 something and my most recent was day 41. Both losses were after the eula. So it seems like days past are all over the pla
Must be in-game days, this version is not 380 days old yetIs that in-game days or actual days played?
True. What I'm wondering if it is tied to so many actual days. Kind of like a trial version. So, every 2-3 weeks you have to agree to the EULA because for some reason the server only keeps your acceptance for so many days.Must be in-game days, this version is not 380 days old yet![]()
