Mainly because they're annoying as hell. I play multiplayer with friends and having them show up Day 1 with the entire HOA because we're struggling to cook food to feed the 5 of us and all we have are wooden sticks to fight with is a bit crappy.I dunno why people get mad over screamers, they are free exp and mini horde nights lol
Old method, but I did fix around 150 window blocks that said their opacity blocked light, but should not.
The wasteland needs more deco parts out there. More destroyed structures, maybe some bomb craters.
Are we getting a re-creation of Arizona’s famous Meteor Crater? There are a couple new crater POIs, I will probably add more over time. Time permitting.
Haha, that thing is massive...maybe we can plan a scaled down version in the future...Are we getting a re-creation of Arizona’s famous Meteor Crater?
I would love to be able to make the glass sliding doors, especially out of bullet proof glass. Will there be any doors added from creative menu in the in-game menu ?
Some bases we do build a bit tough, but for more detailed ones, more sorts of doors are welcome.
I doubt it, as motion sensors probably use a raycast. Will this let motion sensors see through glass, including bullet proof, now?
Were you assisted by @Crater Creator ?There are a couple new crater POIs, I will probably add more over time. Time permitting.
Yes, PLEASE.Since we're getting close to that point, somebody needs to remind rick/lathan to resolve any possible tech problems before starting tommorow, lol.
Nice! With this change, will cops/screamers still be able to see the player through these shapes?Old method, but I did fix around 150 window blocks that said their opacity blocked light, but should not.
Yeah, mostly seems to be half-blocks that have this issue. It's kind of ridiculous that I can be completely covered and still have a Screamer scream at me as soon as she walks up.Asking because there are a host of (even completely opaque) blocks screamers and cops can see the player through, such as half-blocks, if I'm not mistaken in that example.
Pseudo Posse did a video on it a while back and it's not only wildly inconsistent, it's quite disturbing how many block shapes screamers/cops can see you through. I believe in his horde every night series, GNS had to switch out most of the blocks in his base from fancier shapes to full cubes particularly because of this problem.Yeah, mostly seems to be half-blocks that have this issue. I suspect the main reason is that they want to plan how they're going to spend their in-game time, and screamers are designed to show up when you're doing base stuff (also: when you're doing non-base stuff). To people who are playing that way, the screamers would feel like an interruption of the fun rather than the arrival of fun.
