PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

This will be an interesting stream event to watch. Most of the new content is for mid and late game. There are no storms, no environmental hazards, and no new zombies in the forest biome. Orange and Blue zombies won't show up for quite a while. I wonder how many will legit play through the first part of the game in the forest which is largely identical to 1.0 and how many will cheat in smoothies and increase their xp through the console to go directly into the new content-laden biomes buffed with a hefty gamestage right away....

I mean buying perks in the new general category and making outfits appear like other outfits and gawking at dense clumps of trees and bushes can only keep an audience's attention for so long.....heh.

How dare you mock the tree clumps! 😅

I'm usually pretty good at reaching end game by day 40 or less, so I'll try to speedrun through all the biome challenges to reach the wasteland ASAP by playing legitimately.

Could make for a new community challenge perhaps, see who can reach the wasteland first or something. (without turning off biome progression of course)

EDIT: I was trying to quote @Roland but that didn't seem to work.

It seems you must highlight the text you want to quote and then select quote. Then in your response field select “insert quotes” and then approve what it shows you. It’s definitely more mouse clicks than it was before.
If you're quoting the entire message, you can just click Quote, then Insert Quote, then Quote Messages without highlighting anything. But yeah, it's still more clicks. It's 2 extra clicks for single quotes and 1 extra click for multi-quotes. Not a great system and I have to wonder why whoever designed this forum software would have made it that way. It is nice to be able to easily rearrange multi-quotes, so that's an improvement. But most people aren't doing multi-quotes, so it's just extra clicks for no value for most quotes.

And it's the Insert Quotes step that will confuse a lot of people.

Edit: Okay, nevermind. The Reply option will quote like normal, so no extra steps for normal quotes.

That wasn't the point, I knew you could do that. I just miss the orange names that you could scroll through a thread looking for
The forum is still a WIP, and the theme is still likely to change, so it is possible we will get that back.

The +quote is for a multi-quote option, and is why it works that way. Reply is how you quote just one normally.
