They are bring a hybrid LBD!

Correction. He said that he actually has 98 people if you count externals. Externals probably being contractors aka developers-for-hire who are given specific task
Nope: he said with externals "it is something like that"...kinda like someone talking out of their ■■■.

Just like @madmole you skipped past: is one guy tasked with Bandit AI.

Now I'll ask you: did they decide to skip 2.6 2.7 and 2.8 and get straight to work on 3.0?

So are 98 people working on Bandits right now? or was he MAYBE being hyperbolic? I have acknowledged that the art and the models and the POI's are being worked on...those are ASPECTS of Bandits...but they don't MATTER if the AI doesn't work the way they have stated they intend it to. None of you acknowledging that is true. why is THIS point important to me? it's because they are already a year late and it looks like it will be at least another year before they MAY get in the game. who knows...these guys seem ready to chase some more squirrels instead of finishing the game.

How does it not bother any of you that he said:
This isn't changing a tire. It's impossible to nail down a date on a big feature in a game with 10000 moving parts so I'm sorry but I'd rather say "when it's done" and surprise you with something, than promise some made up bs date and be 12-24 months late. Like I said our plan is to start showing some models off and later some game play. I am pretty confident the first version can drop in 2026, but I don't want to put any sort of timeline on that because it's always twice as long as you think and often 3x4 longer than you think.
they gave themselves a year and a half to complete the roadmap...does it sound like he thought they could accomplish that?

I have taken a lot of grief for saying they lied just to get it back on console platforms...he just indirectly acknowledged I wasn't wrong.

It would be cool if a Tier 3 elite commando has bases in the wasteland that you can raid and loot. The armor they use could be obtained from chests in their bases, the same way as their weapons. For example meybe a tactical shotgun. These would be legendary items that you don’t just find you have to fight for them.

A Tier 3 Elite Commando would have a self-destruct in place in case you took their base.
You will NEVER get their loot alive! :sneaky:

This change is not about you. Neither me. But there are a number of players even in this forum who say they play a single game for more than a hundred hours. Who always complain about a mythical "end game". They'll get a neverending carrot dangling before their eyes to supply their OCD ;)
I'd say that almost every change is about every player because it affects every player. The only ones that don't are things that might only affect people to play a certain way - changes that only impact PVP or changes to a specific weapon that not everyone will use, for example. Anything that affects all players is about all players. In any case, I was giving my opinion. I didn't say that everyone would feel the same.

And may I remind everyone that for example the bicycle inventory has 3 times as many possible slots now as it had before?
Not unless you have storage mods installed. Without them, it is 1 extra space. I did end up with storage mods on my bicycle, and maybe that will be the norm, but it may also be that you don't normally have those for the bicycle. Depends if they reduce drop rates on the schematic, which they should considering it drops all the time. It's worse than the vehicle light schematics.

One or two of your fireplaces might run 82 minutes for a task instead of the perfect 80 minutes for a while until you find or craft one that is better.
And yet does it even matter to have different levels for pots or grills that save you a minute here or there? If they are going to progress "forever," then each level can't save you much time. I know some people do sit there and wait while stuff cooks, so it might matter to them. But I think most people probably don't wait and just start it and leave, so any savings wouldn't even be noticeable. But we'll have to see how they implement it and if it has any value or not after that.

though actually...do engines stack now in vanilla?
No, which is already annoying. Engines and batteries take up way too much space right now. Having to do the same for other items doesn't thrill me. But I suppose it depends which items we are talking about.

I saw this and it baffles me because i've no idea WHERE he got that model from I can't find it on any official stuff.
I know it’s quite strange, but I couldn’t find it too 🤣. You still can’t see the colors, but there’s probably a way to make it work somehow.Like this guy did i even make 2 posts on Reddit when i found that video.
