V2.3 Stable

This won't be a particularly console-friendly comment, but I'd really prefer TFP left the paint alone. Right now on PC we can mod in additional paints via OCB and pyro paints, which adds a bunch of non-apocalypse textures. Our newly constructed bases can look pristine. TFP does a great job with textures, but if they add a bunch more I'm betting they'll all be run down textures... and as I understand it even through mods there is a hard limit to the number of textures the game can support. So we could very well lose pyro paints (or its future equivalent) in the process.
As someone who uses Pyro Paints, I still disagree with this. More paints in vanilla are a good thing. They removed a LOT of them, so there is plenty of room to add more. More paints in vanilla mean the POI can have more variety and not use the same few paint schemes over and over again. Different paints aren't just for bases. They are important for POI as well. Using a mod doesn't help with POI unless they are custom POI that were made using that mod. I do agree that if TFP adds more paints, they should include some that aren't old. Those might be appropriate for most POI, but people like nice looking bases, so they should also include some that are nice.

As far as a limit, yes, there is one. But considering how many were removed and that Pyro Paints worked fine when those were all there before, there's no reason they can't add more back to the game.

Are u saying, a long Time ago, in the game there was muche more paint?? 🤔😭🥲😥🥲😭😥

Yes, though the paints were mostly not ones you'd really use. They were things like a paint that looked like a beer cooler before we had a real beer cooler in the game, so they just painted a block with that so it looked like one. Things like an image of a medical "plus" and stuff that some people would paint onto crates. They did take out a few paints you might actually use for walls or floors, but not too many.

I used them quite extensively in my early games. I think there were about six options: meds, ammo, food, and some other stuff. Then I saw that there were "boxes" and "boxes with labels." I started using the labeled ones extensively. They couldn't be painted, so I forgot about that paint.

I'd like to see more pure-color paints. Right now, a lot of the colors look a bit shabby. That's fine for POIs, but not so much for a base.

I used the paint option but wanted more options. I actually made up my own titled crates using Unity which I had to do from scratch as I had never used it before. Luckily Xyth had a tutorial on how to go about it so I clumsily made them. They worked great and then TFP soon after (VERY soon after lol) added the ability to label your crates.
Here is an old pic of my crates.

I don't think I've ever seen a game updated so often in my life. Great job, TFP Team!
I guess you were not around when A14 came out. went from, if I am not mistaken about the Alpha version, from 14.1 to 14.2 in less than 24 hours, because something in the update screwed up RWG worlds. We had tiny islands ;-)

mountain climbing bad @$$
My guess is ether something like this but less O2 gear and without the ice picks

Cuz idk what they were smoking when they thought of the frostclaw and imo it could have worked if they made it look more undead like show some ribs, scrachs, boils, bloody eyes and rotten face. The rest like the hair, ears and teeth could be just the result of Mutated. And i would have given it like some old generic pants vs the loin cloth

The plauge spitter still looks fine and tbh im sad too see him go but it what it is
