I would rather wait than experience AI spawning near my field of view, wielding the gun with godlike precision, one tapping through a narrow 5x5cm gap, shooting through concrete ceilings and walls, and throwing nades better than Shacky his coffee cup. Proper implementation will be a challenge. I want to wait rather than frustrate myself for the rest of the day after 5min session that ends with ALT+F4 and a damaged E G O, a precious screen I cannot afford, or an already damaged keyboard. Not to mention a litany towards the sacred devs.
Are there any plans for a stealth approach, when it comes to outmaneuvering AI?
I do not care about roadmaps, when it is done, it is done. No rush.
Modern games are such disappointment, it is unbelievable. Upscalers create too much blur with shimmering on the screen. Fast-paced games are unplayable with noisy, blurry, and patchy raytracing. Engines and Tools like UE5 without hardware RT acceleration create only more issues. I feel like 2014-2018 had been a peak of gaming and whatever comes today is dead on arrival, worse than indie games with tremendous budgets. I do not want to touch anything that is created with UE5.
It is sad, I was having a blast after launching Unreal 1998 in coop mode with a friend of mine. A few mods and tweaks and here we go a Golden Age of gaming. AI in this game beats 90% of productions today, not to mention gameplay, music, ambient, level design, art, and stylistics.
Stay on Unity, please.
