While I agree making a game is a lot of work and we do have a lot to expect with waiting and bugs in an alpha game, I also would expect that the team actually stops and puts together some sort of update.I could be way off here but I also feel some of the changes coming are developing AS A17 is being worked on. My guess is that the perk system did not come to full fruition at the moment A17 was announced, but much later (hence the wrong percentages/verbiage shown in earlier videos). There is nothing wrong with that. The devs are working on a TON of new things. New ideas emerge and the devs need to accommodate these ideas whether they were envisioned 4 weeks ago or 4 months ago... if it is determined imperative for A17 launch, the devs start working on it. I trust that.
Some of us just need to grab a straw and suck it up because the development of a game before it is officially launched is not a walk in the park from what I have gathered.
We were never promised this update a year ago or even to this date. We used to get estimates but people took those as promises... the work they are doing to a17 is for our next update that we will get when ready. They aren't going back to update a16. It's a waste of time and would most likely delay a17 further. A16 is very much playable otherwise they would have not gone onto a17While I agree making a game is a lot of work and we do have a lot to expect with waiting and bugs in an alpha game, I also would expect that the team actually stops and puts together some sort of update.
What I expect until A17 is released since we are going on OVER A YEAR since we were promised this update, is a patch to fix any current bugs. From what I'm gathering, they're re-writing the entire game at this point. They're delving in head first into something huge, and as something I've said in previous posts, they really just need to do something to tide us players over who spent our hard earned money on this game. I've got friends looking at this game, I tell them to join me, but they just say 'It's in alpha nad hasn't been updated in over a year. No thanks'. And why do they say this? Because lok at other alpha games that never got finished. They went the same route, promises after promises and then nothing.

You got a playable game... go play it.While I agree making a game is a lot of work and we do have a lot to expect with waiting and bugs in an alpha game, I also would expect that the team actually stops and puts together some sort of update.

Looks like a city like New York is now a doable reality! (With subways and sewers!)
A17: ImmortalLooks like no A17 but the game will be mobile.enjoy guys.
Flying Space Bus confirmed. Multi passengers up to 32 players excluding driver for those epic fortress assaults.A18 is going to be insane! First person version of they are billions!
Just a feeling here but I don't think we have much longer to wait.Just a curious question, but does these new features suddenly being added to A17e delay it even further? I mean they sound awesome but it has been so long since I have played 7dtd that I am about bursting here. I stopped playing because I knew that I would have to start completely over when A17 dropped but I also didn't realize how much longer we were going to be waiting. Anything that keeps adding to the wait, well I am just not sure how much more is worth it. Just my thoughts though folks. It does sound like we are eventually going to get something awesome to work with. Just was hoping for sooner rather than much, much later.
That's what I thought ~9 months ago.Just a feeling here but I don't think we have much longer to wait.
