War of the Walkers mod

@qixxy,
Until Dwallorde adds the file to his download, you can get a copy of it here.

https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?34533-Backpack-Expansion

This will work, just pick the one that has the correct size, or at least is larger. Only use the dedicated DLL though.
This is a very long process it looks like... will we have to do the same thing once dwallorde has the file in his download, or no? The reason I ask is because i have to get my server host to do all of this for me, and they tend to say no when it's too complicated of a process. So, if it will be a more simple update once it's all in the WotW file, i will just wait. :)

Alternately.... can I install the 5.1.1 update now and then add the Bigger Backpack addition later, or will that break everything?

OR .. You can be smart and use the 7D2D Mod Launcher and save that trouble :

@qixxy, no it's really easy. Also, when dwallorde adds his, it's pretty much going to be the same, so you shouldn't need to replace it.

All that is required is that you copy over the dedicated server files to the server and overwrite the existing ones.

So is all that changing of the xml files that is listed under the DLL download links necessary? I can't get this working for the life of me on my server, or in SP for the matter unless i use the Mod Launcher lol

@qixxy

All you need to do is install the bigger backpack mod on both your client (your PC) and the dedicated server. However, for the server only, use the assembly-csharp.dll from the link I gave earlier that is the correct size or slightly larger instead of the one that comes with the wotw mod. You shouldn't need to adjust any xmls.

getting about 5 or 6 errors at start up, looks like something is trying to load twice, i have tried loading the mod myself and with the launcher and i still have the error, 5.11 version bigger backpack, also get that unable to load entity randomly someone else mentioned, all and all awesome mod. Found a POI prefab of a nice horde base once that thing was sweet, to bad it was miles away from anything hehe. anyways keep up the awesome work.

Try using the 7d2d launcher it worked for me I just want so people to play with

Can you check to see if you took the calipers out, unless you have a custom item in game for them in a recipe. I think this why I can't get back into a saved game. (fresh 5.1 save where i looted and stored a set of calipers)

@vudugan,

Calipers are still in the game, someone on my private server found some yesterday. I hope that answers your question.

But are they suppose to be in WOTW? They were removed from vanilla. I started a game on 5.1.1 w/ BBM and played a few hrs then logged. But when I try to play again it get stuck on load screen with errors.

What error are you getting?

Those of you with errors, can you post a pastebin.com link of your error log.

To find your log. Right click on 7days in steam go to properties, local files tab, browse local files, open folder "7daystodie_data". In there is outputlog_date.txt copy and paste the contents to Pastebin and post the link.

Sorry about formatting issues, on mobile device

My confusion is that when I download the WotW mod from the GitHub link on page one, there is no DLL file in there for me to put in my game.... am i using the wrong link somehow?
