Grab the vaseline, boys, we about to get Managed!
I am not sure about his assumption. I think it was intended as a joke, but, I could be wrong. I mean, why would the community manager be posting the job listings? seems like a HR or project manager thing...but...I could be wrong. lol

I wish TFP had given Pokket a shot at being the community manager, but, maybe they didn't want someone they actually liked to have that position? I think it's a job where you could end up looking as bad as The Press Secretary...just depends on the bosses.

I have no idea what IZ was referring to, but I took it to mean roughly "Behaviour listed an open position of a Comm Man, and that position has now been closed" ... nothing to do with "who is posting job postings", but that BE was looking for one recently.

I've always been slightly against the notion of a 7DTD 'community manager' because of the possibility it might curtail direct developer interaction here; being able to see - though sometimes sporadic - personal opinions and comments (Laz Man, Fataal, Schwanz, et al) from the development side of things is a rare and transparent relatively speaking wonderfully positive aspect and the only reason I frequent the forum at all.

If the interpretation of 'community manager' is someone who organizes polls, events, or other things of that nature, that's all well and good.
If the interpretation of 'community manager' is someone to filter and sanitize every bit of information for liability and PR team reasons, my disappointment will be immeasurable and my day surely ruined.

Anyone that understands how this type of shift works, could you tell me?

So, if they go GAAS, after 4.0 will the new release be considered a redo, a new game structure under a new steam game id code,
like games that are labeled as remastered?

In order to lock it in, wouldn't the Complete unity file structure need to be redone, to solidify company only sanctioned modding?

Otherwise, it would be corporate paid mod vs Modder free mod.

I only asked about GAAS because the three Montreal positions, list it.

It reminds me of Brewster's Millions, in principle. If you give someone everything openly for 10 years financially free, then attempt
to give the same thing, with a constant price, humans being humans which would be more appealing.

Although it could work for a new target market i guess, like if it could be micronized, for steamdeck, nintendo switch, or cell phone
cloud streaming.

May i propose another emote? A little brown poop emote. I promise, i would use it sparingly! ;D
:poop:

As for GaaS, asynchronous pvp is also mentioned. Perhaps it is something to do with the future games we've heard little about, or perhaps a game mode added to 7dtd since Bloodmoons wasn't well received.
