I think the issue may be that certain things get very bright during the day, especially around certain lights. For example, I had my headlight mod on my vehicle turned on and shining into the lower level of my base and the light went up the stairs straight ahead, causing everything to be glaringly bright on the second floor where my crates were. At least that is my own experience. I think daytime brightness is fine without any other light sources that might affect localized lighting, but it can get very bright in certain situations with default brightness settings in 1.x. But perhaps they feel that the normal daytime brightness is also too bright on its own. If that's the case, it's the first I've heard mention of it as well.I've never heard anyone say day is too bright. There is way to fix that for any game. Turn down your monitor brightness/contrast. Now having two settings in game would be more flexible, but I don't know when I would get to that.
FOV is vertical.
I doubt they're referring to this but at the moment, if you were to lower the in game brightness setting a lot, whites can get nearly blown out and painful on the eyes, most notably in the snow biome.I've never heard anyone say day is too bright. It was a gamma setting on a post processing effect, which is the only thing it is doing in v1.1 at <50%. I disabled that for less than 50% brightness. One other question, currently when lowering the in game brightness I notice that it results in an apparent increase in color saturation. I don't know if that is the result of a direct saturation increase or the result of a contrast boost. Will that still be the case with the new brightness setting?
Well, that is going to completely solve the issue then! You're doing the Lord's work. Thank you!It was a gamma setting on a post processing effect, which is the only thing it is doing in v1.1 at <50%. I disabled that for less than 50% brightness.
Has any server owners noticed that when someone logs into their server it lags for about 10 to 15 seconds? Or when you reset a large POI?
I don`t think it is a good idea to turn into a zombie here, mate.I'm gonna end up turning into a Zombie waiting..
Don't get your hopes up for Christmas release. I personally expect it to be no sooner than January. Also, they all go on vacation around Christmas, so releasing then would not be a good option for them even if it was ready.I'm gonna end up turning into a Zombie waiting for update for xbox series x update release.. Was hoping it was gonna happen on Halloween which would be fitting for sombies, etc here in USA & even took the week off cause i wanted to use some Personal Time Off (PTO) , was hoping it was gonna be a Suprise release.![]()
Now i'm hearing maybe end of Q4 possibly during Christmas where joy and cheer - doesn't fit the theme of zombies... but... it is what it is...?! .. lol
There is always hope. At least they have 4 more weeksНе возлагайте больших надежд на рождественский релиз. Лично я ожидаю, что это будет не раньше января. Кроме того, они все уходят в отпуск перед Рождеством, так что релиз тогда был бы для них не лучшим вариантом, даже если бы он был готов.
This is a true statement, but this is not always how it has been. Some people just want it gloomy cloudy and dark for some reason. Its Like the world got hit by huge asteroid, causing dust clouds that block out the sun or most of the sun. Or maybe some kind of nuclear event. But that what some people want. I personal like the day and the light for most of the game. More realistic to me. I wouldn't change it. But the red every 7 days. That lighting not realistic. I wish this would get removed. But i talked about some of this 10 or 30 pages ago. Point being people have their own ideas and preferences how the game should look like. We cant change this. Honestly its the vision of the developer. We playing what the think what the world would look like. We here for the ride.
