There are only older versions for now. It would be an alpha 20 version, however, certainly worth it.hi is it possible to play older versions of undead legacy and if so where can i find them?
No, that's a custom feature of Undead Legacy as are many other things. As for UL specific things, a friendly reminder, that there are Terms of Use regarding Undead Legacy Mod: https://terms.subquake.com/Hi Subsquake, i love your mod and can´t wait till version 2.7. In the meantime i´ve started a little bit of modding with .xml and i like the way you handle the filling of gas cans at barrels or gas stations and so on. I would like to do the same, but is it possible only with .xml? And if so, can you give me a short hint how to do that?
I'm eager to get into the new UL as much as you are, but remember he's doing this solo. He has a life outside of making the mod, so just sit tight until it's ready.Come on man...I heard something....Is it close?....Come on give me something....
obviously you are not programmerI doubt it's possible in this game without putting in far more effort than it's worth and also creating a lot more overhead. Only chunks near the player are loaded, so if you start loading other chunks then there's a lot more the game engine has to do. It would be similar to hosting a game for 1 friend while the two of you are in separate areas. Plus there's the UL overhead on top of that.
As is, there's *some* stuff going on for electricity and workstations, but that's really the only thing that happens in unloaded chunks.
Delivery drones were pretty cool in concept and execution in Planet Crafter. Maybe check that out if you're itching for seeing something like that in action.
Okay, then write the code for it, make a modletobviously you are not programmerin fact drone don't have to perform any actions and interact with world when it was send to "unload", just starting function which starts counting time until required destination might be reached by drone speed and then drone cargo "magically" appears in chest. it's so simple calculation that would not affect any performance at all.
this is awesome! cant wait playing UDL 1.0!!! Is it possible in 2024?21 hours ago, Subquake said:
While updating Perks for latest update, I decided to change Parkour to work a bit differently, because I never really liked just being able to jump higher and bumping my head all the time without having more control - thus Double Jump idea, short clip:
I will roll with the trader changes and no plans to change how lcb/bed works, apart from making it so that you will have to toggle respawn on the bed, i don't want it to change on placing the bed, because what if you just want to decorate your base with all kinds of beds etc.@Subquake
The only major change in vanilla 1.0 that i personally dont like is the fixing traders to biomes, so people always start w/ rekt.
Is that something that you're changing in the new ul version? Or is it something that's hard-baked into the game and unable to be changed? Also, any exploration (on your/the mod's end) to my previously suggested idea of a lcb/bedroll covering the entirety of a poi, rather then -x- amount of blocks out?
Watched a video on an overhaul mod called Afterlife that seems extremely similar to Undead Legacy. Are you involved in that?

Vanilla game Parkour makes you jump higher, my change allows you to jump normally and also higher just like you would in vanilla, the only difference is that it allows for more control. I never pick Parkour skill, because it's annoying to have, when you ALWAYS jump higher, instead of jumping higher when you want to.I doubt this mechanics would fit well with the existing 7DTD game design. Level design was built with certain movement set in mind and complete overhaul like this might break the experience, don't you think?
