PC Pre-Release Streaming Weekend Event -- A18 edition

I can already see the toxic side spewing out some entitled nonsense. I got no issues with streamers getting to play it a few days early since they stream the game and that's more or less their job. I hope they do the same for alpha 19 and beyond till the game goes gold just to annoy the folks complaining about the streamers getting to play it a few days early.

keep up the awesome work I can't wait to see games4kickz and kage848 stream alpha 18.

 
MadMole's son gets to play it, streamers gets to play it but the people who paied you money for a broken unfinished game when they going to to play this supposedly best alpha ever? ( I am not even including the console players here).

In all seriousness, Proof, the Early Access you paid for will continue uninterrupted throughout the streamer weekend. There will be several development early access versions of the game available for you to play.

I suggest trying the Alpha 11 version and check out some of the cave systems.

 
Only one Aussie gets to stream? Oh well, at least JC is on there, Walter isn't going to get let off that easy.

The streamers are partners in this, not favoured customers.

It's a bit of a difference. =P

 
As usual streamers get the special treatment. Why pay for early access if others who use twitch get it before the loyal fans.

Many of the streamers themselves are loyal fans. I'm also one of the streamers for the event

and I play 7 days since the alpha 11.

Since then i promote the game for the german market.

In the meantime, i have been playing for youtube for more than 2 thousand hours and I always amaze new players to buy 7 days.

I ask you why you think that as a streamer is not a loyal fan

Not for nothing but I have been playing this game since 2013, alpha one. Payed full price. Got no views. Had like 6k subs.

Kept playing because this is legit the best survival game ever made.

Just want this to be known 😁

still waiting for the forum to become PC like all other social medias... Prostitution is illegal (if caught) in USA.

Calm down Proof, if you already believe you paid for a broken, unfinished game (which you kinda did, it's still in Alpha) you don't want to play a new experimental Alpha version for at least the first 2 weeks if history teaches us anything.

In fact you probably want to wait until Alpha 19 gets a stable release, because Experimental Alpha releases are just that - they push the newborn alpha release out into the wild to see how many people find it to be broken, then they fix those bugs and see which fixes have made new bugs.

When this calms down enough to be a stable release then you get to play it with the expectation that you won't be restarting every 27 minutes as they release new builds unlike those poor brave fools who played the experimental branch.

But either way, forum toxicity does nothing to help anyone, it certainly isn't going to get you access to that first weekend of publicity access.

I believe others are allowed their opinions here. Proof sounds to me like he is venting his frustration. I could care less who gets to stream or not at this point as I would rather learn and explore on my own. I played A17 twice and was disappointed to the point I uninstalled the game. It was an enjoyable game for a fair amount of time especially due to the modders additions.

I do tend to agree that experimental releases should be tested by all instead of a select few but I’m no one special so it is what it is.

Unless of course you tape the whole thing and say you're producing a porn video, then it's business as usual :)
