Please reconsider how to handle the JaWoodle thing.

Wording is key in perception.
"he was unwilling to absorb the full financial and performance cost of their mistake." reads already different while still being factual equal.
"TFP was unwilling to share financial and performance cost of their mistake." reads very different while putting the blame on the other side.

AI is indeed in who's bubble it's trained and how you use prompts. Meanwhile it is up to use how we judge the outcome and never take it for an absolute truth.

(My personal AI has a different outcome, Post-notice fault: TFP/BHVR 80% — JaWoodle 20% 🫠 )
The only things 7 Days to Die I do with ChatGPT is coding for my mods. And a lot of what we work on is the poor performance of the game and correcting features that I think are executed poorly (like the brightness setting which we fixed). So that might actually bias it against the competence of TFP. I've never discussed the community.

What I did was give it all the pertinent evidence and asked it for a percentage of blame. I also had it set to high intelligence, so it took a long time for it to thorough scan the evidence and formulate an answer.

I assume you simply let your AI solely scan the internet...aka Reddit...and it probably gave you an answer quickly.

I read the whole thing with way too much attention for an AI post (like, I might've actually read it once in full :P ). But this bit seems either hallucinated or entirely unrelated? Special access .. "special" is only in the EULA in the context of DLC and other online features, and PRE-RELEASE is mentioned only as a complete ban on transferring PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE. These don't seem related to this case in any way..?
I copy and pasted your post to ChatGPT and asked it if you were right. But no matter how many times I asked it to answer, it kept on responding with:
"I refuse to answer anything that comes from an adult human that still uses pictures to communicate".

I've never seen it do this before.

Especially on a tight schedule - start asking questions from people on the other side of the planet, and lose hours upon hours of a tight window?
I’d just like to say that when I was in charge of the streamer weekend, Woodle seemed pretty capable of communicating with me instantly despite his relative world position to me.

But maybe he switched to carrier pigeons or smoke signals after I left the post…😉

All the evidence that already exists shows that woodle clearly knew what he was doing. He's been making 7DTD content for years and isn't new or clueless. One of the first things he did was open the menu to spawn in bandits. Making personal monetized content based on things that are supposed to be a companies private assets is one of the most obvious ways to get sued. No other company would behave differently in this kind of situation. Bandits are not a small or simple thing and woodle doesn't work for TFP. He has no right to have the only content on the internet involving the new bandits and get paid for it.

No one has any real idea about the legal contracts of either parties which makes all these posts even more silly. There's no way you guys actually expect TFP to just let woodle do what he wants and farm content that no one is supposed to see yet because of an ACCIDENT. They did not legally prepare for this because it was a mistake. People farting around about legality as if TFP wrote up a bunch of stipulations incase they accidentaly gave streamers a build they weren't supposed to get...

As far as i can tell, your book is whatever woodle decides to hand you. We will definitely find out, and i'm sure you guys will do a third review bomb after the results because woodle is not a victim.
In my opinion, JaWoodle would've been much better off if he'd complied with TFP's demands. He isn't anybody important. The algo doesn't care if he stays or goes, somebody else will fill the void. And after catching a copyright strike, he's already out more than he would've been had he simply complied. All that aside, how did he know he wasn't supposed to spawn something that the menu made available? If you have access to some thing of any kind that shows or even implies that he had that knowledge beforehand, I would like to take that into account.

I made this account to express my disagreement with how The Fun Pimps have reacted to the events which happened TO JaWoodle. He's done a lot to promote the game, and current handling of the situation does not sit well with me. While I understand the desire to retain secrecy regarding remarkably dangerous nuggets of knowledge about things like C*****N C***S (which I am excited for, however, note the sarcasm), please consider that cat left the bag eons ago and what's done is done. Who did it? The Fun Pimps, on accident. Who's suffering for it? JaWoodle. Not cool. Respectfully, The Fun Pimps are currently out of line. Out of pocket. Call it what you want, but please seek a better, more human path forward in this affair.

Thank you for your time. I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

Old Man Travis Fleury-Lopez

It's the fact that it's BANDITS and that he is a long time 7DTD content creator. There's no way he could have been ignorant about the significance of bandits. It's one of the biggest features that people have been malding over for years, to the point where people will say the most god awful things because they haven't been implemented properly yet.

He went into the menu and saw new BANDITS that he 100% would have known was a big deal. That's why he specifically made a video about them, clickbait and all. Imagine if it was STORY instead of bandits, and he decided to open the menu to spawn in all the note items that held the entire story. Then decided to record all of the story notes as he read them out loud for his video, then decided to post that on his personal channel.

Do you understand how that would be a major issue? Do you understand why TFP would have to push litigation to stop that content if it was for story instead of bandits? They fact that they decided to ask him instead of immediately actioning him shows that TFP was at least trying to be patient.

People are using AI to assign blame now? Holy ■■■■, we're more ■■■■ed than I thought.
HA! You don't even want to know what else I use AI for.

Let's be honest...up against people in general, the answers of AI (hallucinations and all) are of high ranking quality. This is the future...actually it's the present, and the future.
But according to Einstein it's the present, future and past all at the same time.

TFP made a mistake. Jawoodle made a CHOICE to find and spawn bandits that he knew wasn't ready to be public. He CHOSE to record all of this. He CHOSE to post a video about and make money with it on his PERSONAL CHANNEL. He CHOSE to make the bait title and thumbnail. He CHOSE to deny editing the video when requested respectfully by TFP.

It doesn't matter if he's promoted the game in some fashion. He's also done a lot to cause issues, like the review bomb from 2.0 and the current one. He's also likely a big reason why the 7DTD community is so insanely toxic and ridiculous.

TFP are not out of line in the slightest. Their reaction is neither an underreaction or an overreaction, it's totally reasonable. Jawoodle is the one who chose to commit a petty crime and burn his relationship for some extra cash. The fact that so many of you are going out of your way to make accounts to defend him only shows that you can't think for yourselves.
Tell us you're not an employee, or a cockgobbler. He did nothing wrong. Was under no contract. So stfu

How could you tell? Was it the ALL CAPS emphasis added to his posts, or was it the sounds of gooning from the rage bait replies heard throughout the interwebs?

JaWoodle certainly did something both morally and legally wrong when he continued sharing proprietary information he had received despite being told to stop.
Do you have copies of the all the legal contracts between TFP and JaWoodle?

The utter bs of people defending TFP, is astonishing. They keep ■■■■ing the game up, then back tracking. I love this game. But they keep making horrible choices. If it weren't for the YouTubers, this game would definitely not be as popular. That's 100% guaranteed. It's why they have streamer weekends. The streamers have made this game way more popular.

If the idiots who gave him the wrong build would have double checked the ■■■■, they wouldn't be in this mess. He was under no contract not to post whatever he wanted. No NDA. So, no. He's going to win the lawsuit because they ■■■■ed up. Just because someone asks you to remove something, and not employed by them, doesn't mean you have to. So TFP can FRO.

The only thing that should have happened, is they should have accepted his posts about things not being finished yet, and put out a statement of things yet to come, and admitted their mistake publicly. Not chastise a creator they rely on.

Also, they better have fired the ■■■■■■■ that sent the file to him. Ffs.

No. I don't pay money to YouTubers. No I don't subscribe to anyone. I watch a lot of streamers.u have bought the OG console version and PC version. I've been around for more than 10 years. So ■■■■ off.

Wow, really making the Woodleites look real good here.
Wtf. I am definitely not one of those. Have watched a handful of his videos. The people sucking the ■■■■ out of TFP are ridiculous. TFP have made a ton of mistakes. From losing the console rights, to abandoning that community for years, to making a game that sucked and they scrapped in less than a month... Come on. They even blame the community continuously.

Lmao that's rich coming from a pair of guys that only exist here because woodle decided to open the door to his kennel.

Of course they had contracts. Is this your first time being an adult? Do you honestly think TFP as a business would do all of this with no contracts at all? Just free-ballin' it? You can't be this clueless. It's really charming that so many people are willing to defend woodle while also having zero idea what they're talking about. Woodle made multiple choices that were wrong and deserves whatever comes to him.

You don't have to be under an NDA to be legally and morally required to not disclose other's IP. Let's say Mick Jagger sent you unreleased Rolling Stones songs by mistake (my go-to rhetorical example). Maybe he typed in the wrong email address. It doesn't matter. You happen to not be under NDA with Rolling Stones. Do you think this means you are allowed to share those songs with the public? Just because you have never signed an NDA with them? That now you can share the songs with everyone as if you own them and that would be totally fine and decent and nice and not break any laws regarding intellectual property?

I don't need to be privy to legal contracts between them to know it is morally and legally wrong to wittingly disclose someone else's intellectual property when asked not to.
Legally? No. There's nothing legally wrong when someone screwed up, then blames you for their screw up. So yeah. Tfp are a bunch of re7ards for blaming him. Maybe they should have made a statement apologizing to the community. They would have come out on top. The community already is 50/50 with TFP. Especially since the town hall ■■■■ show is where they blamed us.
