Kinda Cheating?

But in seriousness, the "forcefield" blocks are kinda silly and needed fixing.
I'd accept that, if they were even half-serious about fixing force fields.. but then they straight up introduce new simple force field blocks. Now we have both, force fields and solid concrete cubes you can shoot through (large arrow slits, side view).

Tihihihi ... had an idea to test, finally got around to it. This works, that cop won't spit, I can shoot it (headshots are mildly more difficult, but only mildly... :) )

So, now we have a new type of forcefield, the LoS - type.. do with that what you will :D

I used Teragon to make my map and it always spits out an image of your new generated world and It shows trader locations. Is it considered cheating to look at these maps to get an Idea of where traders are?

Here is an image of part of my map ant the small red squares are traders.
I have the game on PC and on PS5, whenever I'm trying a new seed, I'll do the advanced map generation on my pc, screenshot it, and then use that as a reference for the same seed on my PS5.

Grapple gun!

Really, nerd polling is just splitting hairs. Unless you put a ban on carrying shapes, all you have to do is make a ladder /shrugs.

The ladder is more immersive though.

Probably the only way to get rid of it, would be to impede the placing of objects while jumping.

I like the idea of a grapple gun, or grapple arrow, or grapple bolt :).

Then I would buy the Batman armor DLC :).

That, alone, would just make nerd poling use two towers. Place a block, jump on it, place two next to it, jump on those; place two on the first block.. or just straight up build the ladder ofc .. :)

No more jumping for you!

I like the Batman armor skin DLC idea better :). Forgot the "skin" part in previous post.

I used to use 2 blocks to climb out of really deep holes I'd dug that I didn't want to leave ladders/towers in. Place one against the wall, jump on it, place the second a block higher, jump on it, pick up the first, etc.

I only managed to pick up the wrong block and fall to my death like...2 or 3 times. :)

Hah, ye; as seen on TV. I think Glock9 does that, with varying success. I honestly think it's less of a trouble saving the time and grabbing a stump or two instead. I only really pick up frames if I'm coming down an existing pile, to avoid the fall damage.

If you use advanced generation and set the preview to high, you'll see every trader show up as a little red square. I make a map of them on a little notebook I have underneath my monitor.
