where is everyone seeing the page number to...I see where it says page 753 of 753 so I don't know where everyone is getting pages up in the 2000 - 3000 range

My settings are set to 40 posts per page...is that reason I am not getting the high page numbers?

Madmole has stated repeatedly that this game was never intended to be a PVP shooter, just sayin'.
Actually thats complete spin, he said it was not intended to focus soley on pvp and that for the forseeable future (this was some time ago mind you( that pve would remain their focus.

he also said, 2 days ago, that they are going to make pvp awesome and pay it some attention so it appears your info is a bit out of date

Yep, with the default setting we're on page 2007

set it to default and it is indeed at 2007 but that is only 15 posts per page. I think I might up mine to higher than it even was before (40 per page), that way I will have less pages to read

(yes I know same amount of posts but I say phooey on your logic :p )

Edit: nope, 40 high as it goes....

I see some squabbling on player numbers so using the best steam data available and going back as far as possible we see this:

Picture1.jpg

As you can see, from Jan 2014 (1500) to Aug 2018 (6000) the game has quadrupled its average number of players.

There are spikes at major releases and number fall away the longer it goes without a new one but the trend, over a 4 years period, is extremely clear. Far from dying its growing steadily and strongly.

What if we had celebrity zombies? or President zombies? we could have fun with quest like "Dead Presidents" or "Hollywood Squares - get 9 famous people to fill your squares"

also how about steam store items like rare clothing or skins we can use/trade - TFP would also make money. its not like your Art crew has not dreamed up some awesome assets they would like to see in game :)

In Rust I had some rare clothing skins and players would pay me in-game or other means to make them sets of clothing - they would lose on death and pay again :)

player base is going down that so normal because TFP is making a huge updates a game changer update every 1 year so i guess the reason why it going down is the lack of content and people don t have anything to do because not every one able to play mods

so i think TFP should rethink of there update delivry may be a small update every 3-6 months to keep the game alive ...the steam reviews of the game is Mixed all of them complaining about the slow update

With tha addition of new environment hazards are we going to need the radiation suit in a properly way or it's still useless as usual?

Here is a near certainty: after A17 is released there will be an increase of active players by at least one.... Maybe two... I'm almost sure.

I think the rest of you are afraid and don't want A17 to kick your butts like Roland is getting kicked now, after he abandoned the RAT Patrol. Who had your back Ro-Ro? I had you back.

***I hear the zombies are calling you "Mr. Backpack", cuz that's all they ever see of you now... Bring back the RAT patrol and make the apocalypse great again!

I wouldn't give steam reviews too much weight at this point. When the game is out of alpha and actually released in finished form then one could give those complaints some value. The fact that they are complaining about a slow update tells me they like the game and want to play the next iteration. That's not bad, it's a good thing and it all depends on how a person chooses to view something that's in the process of being created. :)

Quick question for the Devs. (That has zip to do with player number stats...)

Will there be a more extensive explaination on solar cells/banks in 7DTD journal? More items purchasable or craftable for defense/aesthetics?

Just wondering if much of what has been added to the new built POI’s will be available for players to obtain.

Thanks.

They also complain that the strippers have little clothing on.... No one complains that the "nurses" always have cash.

hahahha LMAO a strippers with a pistol always i wonder where she can put it hmmmmm

Looting every zombie after a horde night could add up.
The problem is, we don't see 7 day or wandering hordes as delivery guys. =)

What of noticeable value to a zombie apocalypse survivor do you have in your pockets right now? =P
Too good a question to ignore. A 1000 max lumen (and lower steps) led flashlight. A pocket knife almost sharp enough for shaving and sturdy enough to make a improvised knife spear. a short end of string (that was a surprise, now I only need a branch) Some paper (likely just enough to start a fire if the wood is nice n dry). A thick leather belt (technically not in my pocket). A pair of cheap earplugs (not sure that would be usefull....it might help you sleep, but that might be disadvisable).

no ammo, booze or assorted electronic parts ;)
