hey @Jayzen... you hit me with a thought... it would be funny and nice to see a new buff.... "Poison Oak" contracted by running/walking thru the forest area. :) poison oak buff causes player to stop for about 5-15 seconds to frantically scratch (making player unable to run or walk while scratching) which gives zombies time to eat. hey Gazz :)

That's actually a pretty good idea. There was me thinking this entire conversation would be pruned by Roland.

A sizeable part of all posts in this forum are questions that try to coax information about unsure features out of TPF. Just saying, if we had a vote about this, IN THIS forum you would loose by a large margin.

WOW 50% that's a big improvement I hope that's true.
I think Fataal said something about big improvements in specific parts of the code. I doubt he said 50% overall.

 
It's not the size of the code that matters, it's how you use it.

I think he means 50% of performance taken with water, not whole game performance. Faatal also mentioned that AI is consuming 25% of performance needed but AI is not whole game just small piece of game.

 
Most trees in the game are "live". Why would Madmole specify the oak tree is live, unless... !

Because in TEXAS, (Where TFP are)Most of the Oak trees are called Live Oaks.

Madmole.. Do we get the Acorns as food in a pinch? =)

anxious to see how the games plays. I know you cant compare this type of game to others in its demands but sucks playing favorite newer games on max ultra settings to this playing on like 50% probably less with my rig. Its depressing, everything on default but reflections off and more.

 
Blocks should be able to do their own AOE buffs (havent actually tested that, yet) so you can tie whatever you want to them.
Given that you're a zombie apocalypse survivor, we do not intend to model lots of first world problems and ailments, though.
Like a letter in your mailbox block saying your house is about to be repossessed?

Don’t get too excited. I asked Alloc to put a test password on latest_experimental so I could do a tutorial video of how to opt in for the streamers. He did that about half an hour ago.

Things are still progressing well. I haven’t felt an urge to change the release date to mid August yet....
