Gaia. Google "unity gaia".with sceneray like that, I want the bloody map editor to come out. get some beautiful world spaces going
yeah but I suck at alot of that.with a crew I work well, solo... stagnate. plus how the hell do I tie it into 7days to die?Gaia. Google "unity gaia".
I got that reference even though I swear I'm not old enough to get that reference.Somebody should tie a yellow ribbon around it.
Our version of Unity and the newly released Unity 2018.2 still has Vulkan API listed as experimental (Windows/Linux). I don't see us wanting to use it until it is no longer experimental.Has anyone reported on yet if Vulkan is the default renderer for A17, at least for Linux? Anyone got to play with that yet? If it's not the default there could be a way to force it like there was previously with the different OGL rendering cores.
Anxious to see what kind of difference there will be when this new rendering core finally hits if it hasn't already for A17! <3Code:%command% -force-glcore45
I'd vote for that. Before I got this job, I was thinking a middle speed or mode would be nice.Thank you. While I might just try that (hoping I can lure my friends back when a18 claws its way out) what I'm really after is for the post-gold non-EA users to have a game setup option somewhere between the lethargic day walk speed we have now and the manic hyper-caffeinated run speed we have now. Run/Walk/Bolt, maybe, with Bolt having the double meaning of bolt-as-in-run and Bolt-as-in-Usain.
Then youve misread the entire thing if you think ive been venomous. Ive simply pointed out my disappointment with TFP after Joel himself said that the multi passenger was already in the game and the jeep was intended to carry passengers. he spoke of driving with friends and the like but couldnt show us because no one was there with him at that time. so, if it was in during that video and something he intended for the jeep to be, how is it suddenly removed from the equation in the same month the alpha is supposed to drop to the test live servers. And if you must NOT be in my group if you are describing it the way you are, im betting youre an ex member maybe that got booted for disobeying the rules? i could be wrong, but at least ive read everything you have said, you apparently missed where i talked about how i LOVE the game, im just repeatedly disappointed by promised features that dont show up in the game.. bandits ring a bell? these arent complaints, again you misjudge, these are pleas for honesty, not pipe dreams. dont say its going to be in the game then yank it just prior to test live drop. if youre not sure its going to make it, dont mention it. Even you can see the reality in that plea, yes? the folks in the community i run are excellent people who follow the rules and have rousing discussions about different techniques and share video of builds and fun times. im sure your confusing us with some other group youre in where you can complain all you want. peace out.I'm a member of your group, and I have to say it's a shining example of why I don't normally join video game groups on Facebook. I made an exception for 7 Days to Die because it's my favorite game. Most people on FB are just there to whine in the comments. I have managed to find a couple of other groups that are a bit more civilized. Not everyone in your group cares that much about the Jeep. You've done a good job of blowing a delayed feature out of proportion, and you carried that venom over to another venue. If you hate the game and its devs so much, maybe you shouldn't be running a group for fans of the game. I joined groups because I'm excited about the game and where it's going, and I want to share that excitement with other people. It really diminishes the experience when someone like you just posts things complaining about what you don't like.
Thanks for the reply! Sure that might be needed, but the Vulkan core should be test driven for the Linux build anyway and compared against the existing OGL render core. The simplicity of the driver and other benefits of Vulkan vs. the state of the existing OGL core could give it an edge that makes it overall better even at this "experimental" stage. If there is more bad than good, by all means stick with the OGL core as default, but if the benefits/speed/stability/etc outweigh the OGL core then I hope the Vulkan one will still be considered at this point. Our version of Unity and the newly released Unity 2018.2 still has Vulkan API listed as experimental (Windows/Linux). I don't see us wanting to use it until it is no longer experimental.
It's not the size of the code that matters, it's how you use it.Our main vehicle code file is 3581 lines. The vehicle data code file is 1078 lines. There are 13 other code files for vehicle systems like the engine. The vehicle data in xml is 677 lines.
Id rather hear about what they are thinking. So to translate... you are asking for no more videos or forum posts just because something that was said could turn out to not be of shippable quality at the next release?
Would it not be easier if you didn't look at the forum if you're not compatible with Early Access games?
personally, I want war of the walkers broken down a bit so we can grab some stuff out of there. lockpicking is one of em, a bit primitive, but it worksI'm still hoping to see lockpicks one day. It would tie well into the stealth sysytem and rpg stats on the player. You're really screwed if you're trying to play stealthy and you have to bang in all the doors on a POI
I haven't tried that mod yet, but it's on my list. Looks really good.personally, I want war of the walkers broken down a bit so we can grab some stuff out of there. lockpicking is one of em, a bit primitive, but it works
Cool new icon on the stamina bar.
