Instead of bigger backpacks, how about making grocery carts pushable. Load it up and push it through the streets. It could make a ton of noise as well, causing nearby zeds to notice. Would be a great early game tool until a vehicle is crafted.

For MP servers would be nice if every character has own 7 days horde counter. If on server are 10 peoples online 7 days horde is pretty weak because 60 zombies are divided acros 10 players. If player join server on day 3 his horde night would be at day 10/17/24/31... For SP would be without change because they start on day 1.

main problem

Good morning, my first post in the forum. So far the main problem of the game has not yet been solved, it is the question of duplicate item. I see videos of new vehicles, new constructions, but the main problem still continues. When will the developer take action on duplicate items? and when will you release ALPHA17?

You can make the first horde after 7 days, and all the other hordes should come by chance. Thus, the name of the game "7 Days To Die" will be relevant.
i see where you can see a relevance but as i have said plenty of times in the past but people tend to disagree a lot about it.

the name of 7 days to die did not come because of the horde attack every 7 days (actually in my a1.1 version which is oldest build i have does not have 7 day hordes), it was from the time for infection to kill the player if not cured. only trying to preserve history :) and then when the 7 day horde was brought in, it became another reason for dieing in 7 days.

then again i checked at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7_Days_to_Die and they referenced the title to mean it was because of the horde.

cant win for losing but most of us were there... and when the game was cooking.. the biggest threat was finding a cure for the infection. :)

7 Days to find honey.

Hey! What's the HP bar doing back at the top of the page? Did I enter God-mode on the forum? What does that let me do? *searches around for new-found God powers*

Duplicate items is not the "main problem of the game." It's not even in the top ten.

Yeah indeed. I was already compiling some suggestions as how to structure the subsurface in the game, instead of the general 'rock' *shudder*
I want Magma. Lots and lots of magma.

That would be the ultimate defense: A moat of lava. aaaannd WIN! :)

If the smell of zombie stew made by Magma spawns hordes, I am in. There would be lots of beautiful words said.

I actually like that way better than the horde.

It takes 23 repair hits to repair reinforced concrete. Same goes with high repair hits for other high end materials.
Are the Devs ever going to reduce that number?

Even with nail gun it takes forever. ( I will accept quicker repair in exchange for 0 repair during combat )
huh? Maybe I've never repaired the R. Concrete

Yup, me too!

With the updated buffs system that could be made into elaborate quest on its own.

Make players avoid getting infected at all costs. Make them collect gear that lowers the chance. Discard antibiotics as they are now - a pill you just pop and continue as nothing happened. Make it hard to make the cure and hard to minister. Maybe a station you'd have to set up and spend 1 in-game hour staying put for the process to complete - which would only remove one stage from the infection as for contrast, every 24h without treatment would advance the infection 1 stage.

And add a simpler solution to prolong the advancement of the infection to gain time - no one likes inevitable death - but make it tedious enough that a proper treatment would be preferred. Like until you can get to curing yourself you'd have to cook and drink a special tea (made of common items) few times a day or something...

At first, I thought the GPS horde was a temporary solution to keep the game engaging, but it's been so long that I'm starting to have my doubts :D (although GPS hordes seems like a great co-op mode for 7d2d)
