I hope you make some changes to the electricity like connecting two-way the stuff and also connecting multiple parents instead of making a generator for each section of the base... I would love to build one central Electrical Station for each of my turrets/lamps. Also I can give you a suggestion in making working pipes that we can connect the generators to a massive barrel which we fill with fuel for example. This would make the game far more realistic in terms of Electricity and fuel consumption. Also That way we can connect a battery bank to both generator and solar panels and make when it's night time the generator to work if daytime the solar panels. We have the sensors but we can't really connect one battery bank to multiple parents like Generator and Solar Panel. IRL I can do that no problems and if there's electricity in the game it should be made Real Life like.
With the pipes and fuel tanks we can put more strategy into PVP like let's first destroy the fuel tank/el station so we can invade and so on. This will put more thinking into defences and strategy as whole in the game, not just plain minecraft-like zombie apocalypsis :D 

Also I would love some ammunitition containers for turrets... instead of 3 loads of rounds which run out so fast.

Would be nice to use the fuel barrels instead of cans as a fuel source. Possibly make a fuel pump system to connect several barrels using mechanical parts ,pipes and plastic pieces or something. At least having another recipe for those plastic pieces would be nice.

Agreed though large fuel and ammo would be a help in game.

Also wind power would be cool...maybe a small turbine on top of your base to run a few things...add the small chance of getting a fan from a car when dismantling it, would be cool...adding a battery bank in the recipe as well.

Even vanilla on newly created worlds?
aye, vanilla SP / MP new worlds, gotten 20 minutes in a new SP game yesterday but now it's just instacrash on everything.

Logs saying something about not being able to load monofiles , and that shaders aren't supported or some crazy thing. Did new install as well.

Fallback handler could not load library E:/Steam/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7daystodie_Data/Mono/libc

hey @Faatal Is there any chance in a17 or future of getting a specialty zombie type that only attacks player built objects, like a crazy screamer, this way they are a huge threat on horde night or by themselves because as every other zombie is trying to get to you there will always be one just destroying your base/vehicle/structure/defenses. Just think this kind of zombie would create a huge threat (like the behemoth was spose to be)
What would be the difference to big mamas or any other zombies with high block damage? Since almost all players are out of reach (behind or on some wall or structure), those zombies do hit on your structures and defenses almost all the time.

The only players I see who would notice any change would be players running around outside their base kiting zombies.

 
Random eclipse of the sun in a17?

I'm just wondering if the pimps discussed having a random sun Eclipse in a17. Seems doable and would be pretty sweet to have the skys darken unexpectedly during the day and zombies started running. Or maybe could be modded after release. Just thought I'd ask. Oh...and hello.

Hello! And nice idea. You could add to this by having zombies run when it's overcast and raining...

 
Does the new profile picture of roland uploaded does that mean anything? Like A17 just got closer? I know when madmole updates it means it's out.

He is just showing the gesture that follows right after someone asks for a release date or anything related :)

The info above the posts gives us what we need to know. If something changes, it will be written there at first place.

It takes 23 repair hits to repair reinforced concrete. Same goes with high repair hits for other high end materials.

Are the Devs ever going to reduce that number?

Even with nail gun it takes forever. ( I will accept quicker repair in exchange for 0 repair during combat )
