Does everyone remember bayonets? Pepperidge Farms remembers.A suppressor and red dot would be good mods for a .44. And I would like to see the hunting knife be a mod and melee weapon, bayonet on the AK?
Melee weapons are getting a 'Power Attack' with a right click.Does everyone remember bayonets? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
That's a good idea, they would have to implement a melee type attack when using guns though. I wonder if they've talked about it.
That would be ADS tho. How about the flashlight key or they can just add a key for mod functions. Then we could have n00b tubes, laser sights, night scopes, etc.Melee weapons are getting a 'Power Attack' with a right click.
They could have the right click for a firearm be a physical attack.
Pistol = Pistol Whip
Shotgun = Butt Stock Smash
Rifle/ AK = Bayonet
My use of German is not good, my wife and mother speak German better than me.snip
Skater punks with skateboards confirmed for A15!give us skateboard that can be ride everywhere except dirt and sand, and use the skatebord as a melee weapon ( thats my dream lol )
You do not have to do that. I believe it was Roland who stated that when walking, when you press shift, it "toggles" run on. When you stop moving, i.e. take your finger off of the "w" key, it "toggles" off running. So in theory, you can be running, lift your finger for one moment, put it right back down, and you're walking. I've played with that mechanic in some other games, mostly fps.If I have to press and release shift to stop running, I'm going to forget every time. Or every other time. I'm all about having a toggle for this option though.![]()
Ever consider an autorun key as well?
Cheesy potato casserole? Thanks Roland, now I'm hungry.Wat?
I just moved a bunch of posts yesterday because they were off-topic WHILE Madmole was on and making comments and responding. If you want to skip to just the meat and forgo the cheesy potato casserole of community banter then go to the third post of this thread and I made a little tutorial for you on just how to do that.
The dev diary is running smoothly to facilitate dev interaction whenever THAT happens and community interaction the other 99% of the time....
Umm, ish. When you press shift, it turns run on. You can leave your finger on it if you want. It won't do a single thing at all, but you can leave your finger on it for kicks. Then, after you stop moving, you walk again.But the old way of running is still available, right? Just hold shift when you want to run, don't hold shift when you don't want to run?
But one is out of love right? RIGHT?I find myself saying "Oh, Bubo" and "Oh, Jax" in equal measure.
I agree with this sentiment in particular. Make POI's have special meaning (gun smithies, foundries, chemical plants, mines, etc.) instead of being another "Loot_building_001." Doing this would add a significant sense of immersion to the game.Building anything other than a cobbled together FO4 pipe pistol without advanced equipment is all but impossible. It can be done by professional gun smiths but someone without power tools and prior knowledge would be out of luck. You just aren't going to make a functional AR15 or a 9mil pistol without proper tools and a lot of trial and error.
It would be nice if backpack size would get pushed from the server like other container sizes do. Then you could use a backpack size mod on your single player game without getting rejected by EAC when you join a serverMy main feature request would being able to adjust your inventory size (even if its just a few preset sizes). Needing to edit files, mess around with some third party files and turn off EAC = not idea for such a small QoL change.
I remember having to sit in front of the forge to get XP from forging items. That had a tendency to keep people sitting in front of their crafting stations, but the devs purposely did away with crafting XP because they didn't think it made for a fun game if you had to stare at your forge all night when you could be actively doing somethingI agree with you Meganoth,
I would like to add:
What about the Specific Machinery needed to make -
Minibike Chassis
Generators
Ingots
Tool Heads
Lights
Dart Traps
Motion Sensors
Automated Turrets
Furniture of all kinds
And many many more.
I said it with the 'realism' things and will say it here.
This is a line we all draw, but one that needs to be kept in context. The fact that we can set 300 Steel Ingots to be made and walk away breaks all semblance of realism. I can queue 500 Steel Ingots then walk over and queue 1000 Concrete and walk over and queue 1000 first aid kits then, while they are all crafting, go kill zombies and come back to them being done. Unless you stand at the forge to 'make' your ingots while they are being made I would use the 'realism' card sparingly, if at all.
I wouldnt put too much faith in mr. "Everdeen"If you think about it, this is his way of saying it'll be done in May.
Can the knife be modded with iron pipes to make a spear?Silencer, cylinder extender and a carrying strap.
