Might have missed this but when it says Behemoth and Zip lines are dropped, does that mean dropped from ever being done, or just not in A17?
That means they are no longer actively developing them for any release. It doesn't mean they won't ever happen, just that they are not at all likely to be in the game by release. Maybe as a mod or expansion of some sort? They have promises to keep and that is their primary focus. After they've met the original Kickstarter goals then anything is possible.

Seriously, we will have to be very careful where we drive, especially at night or we might just end up dead from drowning. RG has some really deep lakes.
"Oh, its night and I'm driving without lights. Good. ... Oh, now I drove into water. What to do? What to do? Let's continue driving, can't be getting worse. Never back down is my motto".

Sounds like a guy that needs to learn a lesson :smile-new:

The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I release, And miles to go before I release.

I would have no problem with, actually probably would prefer, the ATV being totally useless if you drive it into water over 1 block high. It is an apocalypse after all. Bad things happen. You regroup and move on. Pray you find another working vehicle.

Edit: If they are driveable after entering water, I expect one of you Modders to help me fix that in my game. :)

This will take some getting used to. Will minibikes pop out, fully formed, from the forge or workbench? Or will you just find them in garages? I do like the scrappy, do-it-yourself-ness of scrounging and cobbling together a bunch of different parts to make a functioning vehicle.
Well you would still be crafting them so the scrounging and cobbling together would still be happening. It’s just that it would take place in a workstation. I think they should come up with a new workstation, The Shop, where you craft vehicles and they do pop into existence within the shop once the craft timer completes. That way whole vehicles are never being carried around in the player inventory.

Also, it would mean that the assembly interface could then be used for mods to enhance different aspects of the vehicles.

Sadly probably.
Let’s have some hope from you sillls!
Really? This is the first time in months that I heard different. Has there been a change? :)

Hope

Here is some hope that you requested Roland, enjoy! ;)

You are not used to Rolands accent....he said "Let’s have some poop from you sillls!"

He is making fertilizer and it is in short supply.

Guppy still posts with enough frequency. There’s no scarcity of poop 💩

You're looking at a new block for the winch, an extension to the wiring mechanic to attach it to the vehicle and giving the block the power to provide directional physics to an entity which may or may not be in the immediately rendered area.
That's a lot of work.
Ok, i guess you are right. Doesn't mean i can't be optimistic about it. (...or is it naive :D )

Winch would be cool for gameplay though. When you mess up, you would have to work for it to use the vehicle again.

I humbly ask that you use your great and wonderful powers to make airships. For the children of the world... for world peace... for my avatars picture.
Maybe for A18. I've actually done blimps several years ago in my iOS game Air War. They are cool.

Behemoth and ziplines have been dropped in favor of submersible jeep implementations. Complete with underwater cities, mermaids and GuppyCurs that blow bubbles.

I would vote for a hang glider.

1)Not as overpowered as a blimp

2) More in line with the scenario

3) Might work as an alternative to the bike in the early game.

4) Would allow a few new tactics involving ramps or high buildings. I.e. for example on a map with lots of water you could build towers to glide over lakes that otherwise would hinder you too much.

Oh man...half the internet just read faatal’s post and saw “We promise and confirm airships for A18”....
