Maybe simply allow woodblocks to transport electricity. In real many Power lines are covered with wood.
An upgraded wooden block would work. I don`t know if this is gonna add too many blocks, since pimps added new ones, their limit could be reached already. As we know that this is Electricity 1.0 , would be cool if we get info , but I think it is too early. Nice idea.

in other words: forget it.
For a while :)

- Snipped for clarity
I think that would be great. Add Electric Components and such to the block and enable it like a relay/ wire hider.

Hahaha Oh I'll never forget the water issues. I long for the day where we can hop in a canoe or whatever and paddle/sail around. And fish. And generally have water that behaves like water should. Without killing FPS. *Sigh* Ah, to dream... :p

Hi,

Just wondering if there is a chance that Fun Pimps will look at the lag issue that you often experience if you use mods like valmod ect......

- - - Updated - - -

Lag issues are mostly related to the forge and crafting menu it seems...

Probably not until at least beta if not gold. Their priorities lie elsewhere, like getting the game up to the finished product.

Probably not.

That is up to the Mod author to work with in the confines of the existing game, in it's current state of development to make it run better. The Mods will probably run better when the game goes into beta and start to get heavily optimized naturally but it's still up to the Mod developer. If they even update it to stay current with development.

Edit: haha or read Spec's post.

I believe this has been addressed, although I can't remember where I read it.

First they create the content, then it go through optimisation, @Ripper270. It can`t be the other way as SP says. Its a process. Beta is near.

I check in once in a while to see whats what..I noticed this from the first page feature list ..

Player(Bandit) Motion Captured Animation

What does the bandit mean ? is that the ai bandits ?

Im hoping it is..

Cheers for any info.
It means the mocap animations include animations for bandit NPCs. So whenever there are bandits, the animations will be ready.

Not sounds good =(
That is the least constructive feedback I’ve read here in a while.

How about Dukes scrapping to brass? It's about the only resource which must be looted instead of mined, harvested, or created. The laws of supply and demand would say that brass would be the preferred form of currency.
It would also make the treasure maps truly worth following.
Currently, as soon as you obtain a few concrete mixers and forges you can basically mine for money infinitely. Wet concrete blocks sell for an idiotic amount of dukes. So your suggestion would essentially make brass a recource you can (indirectly) mine, harvest, create.

As long as dukes are in infinite supply at the traders and rather easy to obtain, making them scrap-able to brass devalues brass massively. As you correctly state, brass is so limited it actually is worth something and one of the most desired goods in player-to-player trading.

I think that's a good thing from a multiplayer POV, as it encourages trading and therefore more player interaction.

However, I agree that currently the need for bullets is is too high with all the bullet sponge Zs around. I'd rather have that fact adressed in development, than taking away yet another valuable good from the economy.

I hope we get somehow the ability to make a settement.

This way we get settlers

And then crops that need caring settlers to grow (and so we break the "less harvest = bigger fields" problem, because one settler can only grow enough food for 2 settlers)

And then only recipes that allow to make really good money needing crops as ingredient

I would never bind the money direct to the Ammonition.

This result 100% in a imbalance
