Darkness Falls: They mostly come out at night...

To be honest .. I've gotten use _ to not having a clock .. sun comes up / sun goes down ... we have the day and I think that is the most important thing ....... But it was nice .. I built my home base in a POI with a vending machine and I have a battle base else where.

What I've resorted to (yes - I noticed that the traitor does have the clock) is DM'ing and then opening the console to see what time it is. When playing this game I take it as Time being your worst enemy.

OH! I can't seem to find the right 'workbench'/'etc' to make bullets. :(

 
That should now tell you in the latest update.

But it's the metal workstation + calipers.

Also, little tip. The cricket/cicada background noise starts at 7pm. :)

Trying to make weapon parts and it says that a lead car battery is required but there is only space for the torch and calipers, what am I missing?

 
If you mean the actual parts of guns, then you need a CNC Machine. :)

I noticed when Kage was streaming the mod today that the gun part descriptions were not updated to state that, so I need to do that.

But the CNC machine has a "tool" slot for a car battery.

 
Ah ok.

I typed CNC in the recipe list and nothing came up.

Also, I cannot make bowls in the advanced forge so I keep the old one around just for that purpose, is this intentional?

 
That is not intentional, so thank you for letting me know! I'll make sure it gets fixed :)

EDIT: Oh, and you CANNOT craft the CNC machine. You have to find it.

 
Sewing kit should be in night stands mostly.

CNC machine drops off the most difficult zombie in the game and can also be found in working tool stiff boxes, right off the top of my head.

Small update.

It was brought to my attention that Titanium blocks are bloody awful. Their explosion resistance was WAY too low, along with the Max Load.

So I've fixed it. They now have the highest explosion resistance, a max load of 400 and a mass/weight of 15. That means you should be able to build a pillar out of titanium and then go approx 26 blocks out before it collapses. :)

Fix has been pushed to github already.

Update for folks!

Final build of 1.7 is out on the discord. If you want to help find bugs, the link for the discord channel is on the first post. Server files also included if anyone wants to run a server.

The current plan is this.

If all goes well and no major bugs are found? Release Monday (30th April)

If there are issues? Release Friday (4th May)

Testers have reported that 1.6.2 saves convert over with only minor issues. Some blocks are misaligned or facing the wrong way due to new models. You can just pick them up and place them again (assuming you have a claim block). You also won't get any of the new POI's or tree's spawning in the world.

As such, a restart is not required but it will be RECOMMENDED. That way you can enjoy the new rwgmixer with larger AND closer cities, the new fruit tree's spawning out in the world, and the new trader who sells more of the high-powered items compared to the standard traders.

Thought it was worth giving folks a heads up in-case they wish to stay on 1.6.2. :)

I must be doing something wrong.

So I copied DF-SDX-Client.zip, unzipped it and pasted the folders into my 7dtd 1.6.2 game and launch it from the 7DaysToDie.exe.

It starts to load up and goes through till it gets to "Loading Items" and stalls there, looking at the console it says:

You're missing a file. Your Resources folder should look like this...

Yeah, I wanted to put it on imgur but it was down.

All those files need to be in your 7 Days to Die/Mods/SDX/Resources folder. The Model '#AppleTree?AppleTreeGrowing error is because it can't find AppleTree.unity3d.
