Small Update 0.2.4Exp3_5 :

  • Traders open again from 02:00 to 22:00
  • Text and Quest text changes
  • Bugfix Attribute skilling to 9 decreases own Hitpoints to 110
  • Nerfing Head-Dismemberment on Tanker and Boss Zombies
  • Increased Kill-Quest Difficulty ;-) I hope this works, please test!
  • Increased Grandpa's awesome Souce duration to 10min (from 3)

... yes, XP is removed as it can show when a Zombie is "dead" (killed), when the HitBar is not active.Hardcore Player don't want to get spoiled and want the thrill of not knowing that.

oh, I'm indeed a bit chaotic lol, a third Q. Boars? hm, I seen them quite often, at least the models, not sure if thats the "boar" needed for the quests as there are sub-classes of each animal now in this mod included; but I don't have removed any kind of animals or zombie classes/types, so they need to be there...(but you don't get any skillpoints anymore)
Possible that I have extreme bad luck, so I ask others if anyone saw a boar, not a pig. And it's not just about this sp, it's quite easy to get them, I thought something was wrong, but if everything is ok, I will leave this matter.

edit: okay, I can verify that the game sets your heath to 110 exactly when you get to Fortitute=9, this does not have anything todo with the glasses; when you put the classes down, you have -1 Fortitute, but then when you put in another point (so you again have 9 points), it will bug out again!very strange...
I understood this when I added another point (without glasses) and life dropped again to 110, I dressed glasses and I have 200 :)

This is Just a Message that the Mod Launcher is Checking files .. does it all the time Now.

Nothing to worry about .. you should get it on all launcher games.

 
Issue Found

Howdy Rucky,

I was playing with a friend and we can across an issue. The difficulty is set on warrior. We tried 2 of the challenge quests, from A-Z and Man eater. Both instances we had a "roaming horde" spawn out of the ground in front of us. Not the 15 Zeds needed for the quest. During this it completely lagged out the server, cause a fps of 1-2. We did these challenges about 45 minutes apart. Other than this, we are having a great time playing the mod. Thank you for your effort.

this was on purpose, but could propably go out of hand as I assumed,

thanx for feedback, will tone this done a lot...

 
Another Small Update 0.2.4Exp3_6 :

  • Reduced Kill-Quest Horde-Spawn, should be way better now.
  • Reduced Kill-Quest Reward-QUALITY - oh my that was given out only legendary...
  • Added some Options back, PLEASE RE-CHECK ALL MENU SETTINGS (i.e. DropOnDeath)!!

Hello, is there any way to put XP back when killing a zombie or gaining some experience?, please, please!!!!. :)

I really feel lost without that data. And I really do not like to play like that. I understand what your mod is and you do it according to your taste, but it's just my suggestion. :)

With the live bar, we see when zombie is dead.

PS I'm going crazy watching the xml files to see if I can see where those lines of code are. Lol, no luck, really.

I'm thinking of going back to the stable version that comes out of the XP earned on the screen.

  • Removed Combine-Feature for Workbenches for now, seems to be broken, will investigate that for 0.3 again
  • Another Reducing Kill-Quest Horde-Spawn
  • Added 3 Horde-Kill-Quests. Use only on good CPU/GPU Machines! They are extrem demanding but will give great Loot!
  • Reduced normal Kill-Quest Reward-QUALITY - oh my that was given out only legendary...

I was playing experimental 0.2.4Exp3_8 or 0.2.4Exp3_7. Today i update the mod with the option Pre_Sync Mod in he mod launcher, but now i get an error in the vendor.

Is compatible experimental 3_7 with the new version, or i must to start a new game?

 
it is compatible to Exp3_8 as it's about the same, and it should be to Exp3_7 too (though this was a hidden update),

the only thing I can think of is you had open quests, ans this is something the game don't like as this can get messed up.

can you send me the output_log file where the error occured?

 
Hi rusky is this mod only for Navezgane or can it be placed on a RWG map and whats the max map size as im trying to use 12288 it works on vanilla but now just keeps crashing the server. Any help you can give would be great thanks

 
The heat on the auger use is too high. I can barley use it for 30 seconds before a screamer horde shows up. This makes it impossible to start a mine for resources. Can you dial it back a bunch?

You can use RWG of course. I haven't used 12288 though, and that's not supported by Vanilla. Vanilla is 4K and 8K and when going advanced you can select 16K. Note that some Maps seems to have no Traders in, so please make sure you use a Map that has some.

You can check this by opening the file prefabs.xml in the folder \AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\GeneratedWorlds\West Wakaba Territory or whatever World you have. Check for "trader" then.

Vanilla is 0.2 per sec, BorderlandZ is 0.5 per sec. Yes it's higher, but the reason is, you are not supposed to mine big and long ;-)

(as in "you don't need to mine anything ever")!!

I can lower it to 0.35 in the next patch.
