I'd like to see the humble wooden club be able to hold up over time as being the most modular of the club weapons, able to take on the most modification compared to the other two clubs. Rather than just either barb wire or spikes, or iron plating, can have all 3 as opposed to the higher grade clubs.

Some have expressed concern that everybody will be wanting to use the drone. Well of course they will. It's the new kid on the block. People have been asking for followers for years as well and this drone is both.

Once A-19 is out and everybody has had a chance to play around with the new drone. People will get back to asking for new stuff, staring gates and other complaints. You know the normal stuff for this forum haha.

So be cool. I;m still waiting to see what happens when bandits get out, or pirates. :pirate:

(I saw your play hours in the a19 beta thread.)

Your enthusiasm for the game is great, but IMHO your desire to interact here exceeds your interest in the game itself.

That's why I suggested you learn how to mod, and contribute to that pool of add-on fun. Many mods are just text editing, so you've had tons of practice ..lol!

I appreciate your opinion, but honestly i really think i would fail in terms of making mods, for god sake's it took me two days just to finger out how to have more zombies spawn and i had to bug 4 people on the forums just to learn. and TBH i really don't expect and of my ideas to come in-game i do it for fun. now their may be that 000.000.001% chance of someone ether a modder or a staff member may go "yeah thats a ok idea". and plus if i was going to mod i would go little crazy due to lack of patience lol

 
The new Steel Club looks cool as hell.

Are baseball bats still going to be a thing?

I understand that it's supposed to be a two-handed club, but a wooden bat doing more damage than a reinforced wooden club already looked kinda weird.

A big spiked steel bar should be leagues more dangerous.

Also, drones that can fly and presumably follow you around are crazy. I guess that's an evolution on the Junk turret idea?

Is there just going to be the turret and the drone, or is there gonna be some sort of middle-ground mid-tier turret?

Wait, I remember hearing that the lowest tier one was going to be melee only or something, right? Like a self-resetting sledgehammer trap or something?

Personally, I'd love if the tier 1/2/3 breakdown was "Immobile turret" "Turret on treads that follows you around, but slowly" and "Flying gun-drone"

Sure, the upgraded versions could have more damage, but they'd become more useful just by being more mobile.

A melee trap isn't really a turret, even if not needing to power it would make it really useful on horde night.

 
@faatal thanks for answer. Could you clarify one detail? Will zombies swim absolutely all or only part of them, and part will continue to walk along the bottom of the reservoir?

They all will swim, but that does not mean they stopped walking on the bottom. Because of how pathing works, they still generally follow the bottom, but can swim up as they near their target horizontally.

I was walking in the game and suddenly realized that there are no water sounds. Are there going to be some added to the game?

There was an issue with water where code was looking for an old water material name, which i fixed. Other changes have been made with how water detection and depth is calculated. Like many legacy systems, it is and will be getting cleaned up over time.

 
i thought of a potential exploit for swimming zombiesif you build a base on stilts in the middle of a lake the z's constantly swim trying to reach you or they go for the pillars after a while?

In theory they will go for the pillars sometimes. It depends on a lot of conditions. I've spent 4 days working on AI swimming. It is complicated.

Of course you would fail, you just self proclaimed that you would so you would self fulfill that prophecy. And then you go on to explain how you have a lack of patience. What you really mean is I'm lazy af and I give up easily. In order to accomplish anything in life, you will first need self belief, and then you will need to be patient. Sounds hard, but I assure you that with a constant effort made on your part it can become much more rewarding than pretending to be an idea man when all you do is regurgitate commonly posted ideas. You are better than that.

You have passion but you shoot it down without even trying. Make a choice, and do something with your time here and do it well. So what if the first 5000 steps suck eventually you'll get better and pretty soon people will praise you. I am a nobody from nowhere, but I turned my passion into a multi million dollar a year business. But I always had self belief, because mom told me so. Even if it was a lie, it got me started and that momentum is very powerful once you harness it and decide to do better than yesterday. So get off your ass and make something of your life. Believe it or not you will blink an eye and be 30, and then 40, and then wonder why you didn't get where you wanted to be if you don't apply yourself.

If you don't make a choice its still a choice. You'll be flipping burgers and not getting any respect, not be happy etc. So its better to try to become something and fail, than to do nothing and succeed. Use your passion to make mods, or become a good artist, etc. You like attention and working on mods is a great way to get some and build your skills up.

 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but military stealth boots remove the need for an advanced muffled connectors mod attached to them since they inherently have a stealth bonus. Advanced muffled connectors are a mod which take up a mod slot; nothing to complicated there. Having a pair of level 6 military stealth boots would thus open up a mod slot. However, with the inability to craft T6 items (which I have no issue with by the way), this simple fact defeats the purpose of the military stealth boots. This makes military stealth boots the only item I ever spawn in - the only reason I would ever meddle with the creative menu period - after I craft and then throw away a level 5 pair of course for a level 6 pair.

Just a little "quirk" that I noticed.

A very inspiring statement. As they say, you are who you set yourself out to be. Coming from a disconnected and fairly poor family I had initially given up on life from around kindergarten to many many years later and even very recently, but I'm beginning to find my feet once more. Most influential quotes float over my head since so many of them seem so whimsical, fantastic, and maybe even downright cliché; sometimes people have to not beat around the bush. As I said, very motivational words, and I'm very sure others will have their spirits brightened just that little bit more just the same.

Take his words with great focus, Adam. I thought that life would just drag by, then nearly 20 years seemed to be ripped out from right under my feet. Decades may seem like an eternity away, until you can look back; make the most out of your life.

(Nonetheless, I would like to add that while anyone can be successful, not everyone can. Even if you fail, you at least tried.)
