Na, his hints make no sense. It's probably a new clown zombie or a new pumpkin crop. Who knows :indecisiveness:Default is lower? Good.
Edit: Lmao, I knew your hint was something nuts.

Again this is before my post about complexity and rewards, usability etc. The complaints are from nostalgia, not experience. Farming is not complicated, so why make it tedious? The reward is a single crop without perks, and a boatload of work, tools, to get started in previous versions of the game. The complexity of the design needs to match the reward. Its harder to plant a single crop in pre 18 than it is to crack a vault and get a nice payload of weapons.Indeed I do. But the truth is there is no statistical data here-- just personal experiences being extrapolated onto the world by everyone.
My feeling is that I would like more interesting complex farming. Minecraft is simple and it is a very simple mechanic to have to farm within four blocks of a water voxel that adds a bit of complexity that our game doesn't. I wouldn't mind other more complex aspects of farming to be added that others have lamented as "unexplored potential"
But seriously, the vanilla game can be simple as long as it allows for being made complex by mods. Modding is the answer for complexity and gracious fans and modders will recognize the genius of TFP's simple vanilla framework as the springboard while others will call TFP's game crap and bless the modders for saving it.
Who hasn't played a mod that had A, B, C, D, E, and F in it and you wish it only had A and B for whatever reason? The vanilla game should be simple yet infinitely expandable. If TFP does their job right then a modder will be able to turn this game into "Harvest Blood Moon" for like-minded fans who want seasons, irrigation, 50 crop types, crop quality, disease, 3 tiers of hoes, 3 tiers of watering cans, etc etc
At any rate, I have fond memories of the various iterations of farming I got to experience and tonight I'm going to try the latest and see if it really is 100% of TFP or 99.9999% that absolutely loves the change.....
Maybe A19 will offer the broken arms you seek.We will welcome a18 with open arms! Or should I say with broken arms?
hey your hand is on the stick so reap the whirlwind murphy, reap it. anywho cheers. I think I've been a positive ambassador of this game. I got my $ worth so I guess I don't have any right to complain. To be described as in a group of "but hurt" or not "stable" is pretty shocking. just a heads up...dudeAmen to a stable voice on the matter.
As big as you want them they are a dynamic box that grows if you place more cubes together.25 nitrate... 150 nitrate per challenge... 6... How big are these planter boxes again, sorry? Lol
Ohh, very interesting! So I'm assuming you craft one box at a time and as you place them together they merge together seamlessly? Or do you use the nitrate, rotten flesh, etc. to craft a box as big as you want? I'm assuming it's the former. As big as you want them they are a dynamic box that grows if you place more cubes together.
If he issues an apology for calling 18 crap and admits the new farming is awesome (once 18 drops) he can come back. You’re welcome. I enjoyed the bit of xpath modding I did. Be sure to let me know who you are when you com back as an alt so I can rep you. ;-)
Oh this guy is so close.Conventional Ralston: individual difficulties, not server-set(not sure if this is the case, actually. haven't bothered to find a good server since my buds moved on. They are gaming butterflies.)
OR: dynamic/modifiable difficulty
Maybe a video of the new farming, to cool some tits?If he issues an apology for calling 18 crap and admits the new farming is awesome (once 18 drops) he can come back.
Thank you. I always reserve judgement until I try something. Even for pos like Fallout 76, they still got my money but I am hopeful that they will polish it to something I want to play for at least 200 hours if not more.I dont know about anyone else, but I'm gonna wait and play A18 before I complain about a feature change.
that is because your bleed debuff <if the same from a17.4> is on crack. every bleeder is a hit to the carotid. instead you should vary the amount of time they bleed, not every wound needs to be a gusher, thats as bad as your example of every room always having 10 zeds.I was in the desert. Coyotes are not hard to kill but sneak up and ninja bleed, kinda bs, we're working on improving that. I started a new char same map, spawned in the forest and got rekt by wolves in the same situation, fighting zombies, back pedaling to stay out of hit range (the brawler you just plow forward and eat shots, who cares you aren't getting infected) so my spear kept me at range but I'd back into a nest of wolves and get bleed, and bleed out or get bit too much in a short time and die. It was too cheap.
Yes good point, another factor in our decisions. Its not dumbed down, its different and definitely more elegant and easier to learn. The problem I had with the hoe was after I hoed my garden, maybe 5 minutes time, I had no use for the hoe ever again. So used it for 5 minutes then either melted or sold every one I found thereafter. Something in a game that's only useful for 5 minutes is hard to justify. That was my issue with farming, not it being complicated or not complicated. Why waste the time on an object with so little use? I don't know about the new system, I'll have to play it first but getting rid of a pretty useless tool is good in my humble opinion.
I think they have been thinning crops here and there.Ahh okay, good change! I know that farm plots spawn rather excessively in 17.4 so this wouldn't be an accurate representation based on intended spawning rules, but in my current world, I have over 600 potatoes... and I haven't planted a single one. I just have over 600 potatoes sitting in a chest that I punched from those naturally generated small crop plots within towns. It's a little bit too easy, so I'm glad to see it being made more challenging. ^^
Pfffff....kids problems. Now I'm working on time travel. See you last week!I'm curious how he defeated the laws of physics and thermodynamics.
Which is why its commented out. IN the future I want it to raise/lower terrain density and clear grass in a huge area.Keep the hoe as a grass removal tool...
Tier 1: Hoe
Tier 2: Scythe
Tier 3: Gas Powered Weed Eater
Legendary: Rider Mower
He wasn’t referring to everyone who disagrees with the change. He was specifically talking about the few who were getting emotionally charged and spelling the game’s doom before even trying it. From your post history I know you’ll at least try it before making final judgement.hey your hand is on the stick so reap the whirlwind murphy, reap it. anywho cheers.
