Bug Description: When obtaining the "illness" face there is an inconsistency with its removal. This does not seem to always occur. My wife had the illness and it went away just fine naturally (Although antibiotics, goldenrod, and honey did not speed it up) but mine has been going for 4+ hours. All medications and such have been "tried".

Reproduce steps:

Press F1 to open the console, then type dbs

This will open a panel in game for you to type the bug in.

once done click ok

there will then be a SCREENSHOTS folder in the main 7 days folder.

1) Get bit/hit or otherwise contract an illness

2) Attempt to take medicines

3) wait for healing

Actual result: Randomly go away or "heals" with medicine

Expected result: Randomly stays or goes with no effect with medicines.
I see that on my server also. You get bit, you get illness, and it lasts for hours and hours. You can't heal it, you can't get rid of it.

 
Summary: Craft Timer taken over from previous crafting queue (probably same logic as the forge melting bug when swapping a fastly melting with a slowly melting item?)

Bug Description: When aborting a production in the crafting queue the timer of the aborted production gets copied over the next one and crafts all at once. Thus immediate production of slow queues possible.

Reproduce steps: E.g. craft crushed sand - craft concrete mix as second in line. Abort sand, get out of the mixer and get back in after waiting a few seconds.

Actual result: Timer gets overwritten

Expected result: SHouldnt be.

Status: Reported before (**I apologize, known issue oversight, read right over it**)

Bug Description: While in a vehicle and you eat or drink, the item is consumed but no benefits are obtained

Reproduce steps:

So far, tested with bicycle, mini-bike, and motorcycle. Hop in one the vehicles, go into inventory, select a food or drink, click "use", item is consumed but no benefit is gained in form of food/water/health/buff

Random Gen is still messed up... Still MANY Radio towers... Fewer Water Works Buildings and Junk Yards.... since LAST Build.









Yes, I am having this same problem. I started a new seed and found a huge area full of radio towers, a town full of those dump poi's; I ran through street after street before I finally found a Buzz's Bar and a house. Plus the roads are crazy; sheer cliffs.
Known issue that is being worked on, but thanks for the example with the kindergardens.

Bug Description: Can't find the selection hitbox to use/enter motorcycle after logging in today

Reproduce steps: This is a first for me so not sure how to reproduce. I've hit the motorcycle and shot it to make sure it was still physically there and to try to force a selection hitbox, both tries hit the bike but failed to produce hitbox.

**edit: dug the ground from underneathe the motorcycle, now its floating in air

**edit 2: friend came from another area, was able to get on bike, once he got off bike, selection hitbox returned

**edit3: happened again hours later after an exploration trip laced with vehicle damage (rocks, 1x landmine), I mention damage cuz thats the only repeated item that happened same as before outside anything else. I had a friend that was logged out in area login and he couldnt access the bike either.. Friend that is miles away (in game from edit "2" isnt available to see if he can acess bike again. Restart of server resolved issue.

I just started noticing this, so I'm not sure if anyone has encountered this before. Since moving to Stable 17.1(b9) I noticed the game being more and more sluggish. So I opened the task manager and it showed the video card maxed out even though the game was paused and minimized. It stays the same whether I have all details on High, custom (high with shadows disabled) or medium.

My card is a 1060 3GB so it's not that shabby and I got easily 60fps in version 17.0.

Summary: Crashes when riding vehiclestry going into the game launcher and not use GL Core nor Vulkan (vulkan is not fully supported)... only use the supported dx11 the gtx 1060 should have no issues with DX11. save and launch and create new game seed.

when in game set settings option to medium and save, you may have to restart game.

Sorry, what part of "* I have frobbed all the options in the launcher to no effect" wasn't clear? It still happens with Direct X11. The only reason I even changed the api is in testing this.

Status: Unsure - no real list I can quickly go through to see.

Bug Description: Audio clips not completing.

Reproduce steps: Do anything repetitive and you should experience it at least once.

Actual result: (description of what is occurring): You can be doing virtually anything and especially if its repetitive such as digging, or chopping a tree - intermittently an audio clip will seemingly not complete; or will 'start' and quickly stop.

Expected result: (what you expect to occur): Audio clips should complete their progress.

NOTES: I've found this since A17 was released. With the previous stable it was bad, but now is probably barely noticeable by most. Its very noticeable when using a stone hammer on rocks or digging.
I have noticed this also...

I have also had the ambient wind sound start cut off and start again without ever finishing.

Found out when I turned off the music the ambient wind sound would play normally.

Still it does not fix the hit/upgrade sound from cutting out.

Status: Was a bug previous, but a17 made it so much worse

Bug Description: Since the distance player blocks get rendered in is so close (100m?), players get rendered in a lot earlier. Thus making them seem flying in the air. Players can also be hit by bullets while being inside e.g. a tower through that.

Reproduce steps: Put a player in a tower. Go away. Come closer such that the the player renders in before blocks do.

Actual result: Players visible before blocks.

Expected result: Both should be visible at the same distance, if players are visible earlier, they should still be protected by their walls.

"New Bug" relating to "Player can consume any consumable while mounted in vehicle"

Summary: Consuming any item from your inventory, ignores any <requirements> set in the XML for using the item. Likely related to consuming items while in a vehicle (since you can only do that from your inventory)

Status: NEW (or, update to the known vehicle item consuming issue)

Bug Description: Using any item from your inventory that has a <requirement> in it's Action, causes the requirements to be ignored, but the item is still consumed

Reproduce steps: Take pain pills, then "Use" them again from your inventory

Actual result: Repeated "Use" actions from inventory consume the pain pills but give no effect, the action is ignoring requirement to allow consumption. This is the same behaviour observed if you try to use an item while in a vehicle

Expected result: Trying to "Use" painkillers with painkillers buff active (or other items with a requirement on their action that evaluate to false) should not consume the item

In light of this, I believe that the already known bug is not directly linked to being on the vehicle, it is because you are using the item from your inventory instead of your hot bar. Using an item from your hotbar correctly obeys any <requirements> on the action.

Thank you,this should be taken care of with its "main bug" being taken care of, added comment to check for this when fixed.

Not sure if its considered bug, but reporting none-the-less. Either my plant farm or tree farm is tanking my fps down to 10fps (or worse). The rain isnt helping but i'll show progression suggesting farm or tree farm adding to issue. I have a tree farm, 6 trees wide by 7 trees length, minimum distance between each tree next to plant farm.

Bug Description: Advanced muffler connection schematic (a tier 2 schem.) can't be crafted, even though I have the perk for using tier 2 schematics. The little icon that shows you know how to make it is greyed out though. Maybe it's meant to be tier 3?

Bug Description: Crafting items (particularly multiples of items like gun powder or tools) keeps the TIME updated with INT Perks, but the RATE of production is slowed to pre-INT Perk rates. This results in the timer counting down to zero, and still having items to craft. If you exit and re-enter the station, the timer is resent to non-INT Perk levels.

Reproduce steps:

1) Put on a large quantity of item to craft (eg. gun powder, casings etc)

2) Note time to craft, and rate of craft

3) Exit station, notice time to craft is the same, but rate has slowed

4) Stay in station until timer hits zero, notice more items to craft

Actual result: Rate of crafting does not keep up with INT Perks when leaving a crafting station (Time appears the same until it hits zero and then upon exit/re-enter reset to pre-INT Perk level)

Expected result: No change to rate of crafting based on INT

I am glad that I came across your post. I came across this issue a while ago. The issue is the code is backwards. There are Advanced Muffled Connectors and then just Muffled Connectors. The Adv scheme is a T3, but is coded to show in tooltip T2 and the same for the Normal. So just the tooltip needs to be changed. If you buy Yeah Science 4 (Int 8) ((iirc)) and try making the Advanced Muffled Connectors, it allows you to. Just as if you try crafting the Normal Connectors when only having Yeah Science 3, even with the wrond Tier in the ToolTip.

Thank you, that explains it. Figured it was something like that, but I can't read xml very well.

 
Just a guess, but possibly there's no FPS limiter, so the game works the card 100% regardless.
VSync is ON and the FPS sits around 30. And, as I said, I had easily reached 60fps in b240 and even in 17.1b8. And why it would peak to 100% when the game is paused and minimized? There should be no rendering going on at that time. The process is on hold. Is it mining crypto or what in the name of Gaben is going on?

 
not seeing same thing on my rtx2080 and i purposely have 3 games running to compare. were you generating the RWG because that will bog down until done especially on larger than 8k maps.

GTX 1060 3GB vs RTX 2080... if that's the level of hardware we need to play this, I'll revert to 16.4 and cope with zombies running in circles.

The map is indeed RWG but it's day 10... There should be no more generation at this moment. I am in forest biome, most of the trees are cut down around me, it's not raining or fogging. The game has been paused and mimimized for 10 minutes while I was in the forums. I lowered all details to medium and it didn't help.

Before submitting, I decided to drop all detail to low. It now sits at 55% paused and mimimized. Will try and bump detail and see what happens.

I'm restarting the game client between each change in the settings... Medium settings started at about 80%. As soon as I disabled motion blur and SSAO, it jumped to 100% and toggling them on and off made no difference.

If you have a more detailed plan on how to debug this, I am all ears.

EDIT: Tried a new set of custom settings. Went all HIGH and started disabling stuff. Current configuration gives me back 60fps and a load of 70-85% on the GPU

what i posted is not about my computer, it is to show 3 games running at same time for over twenty minutes to compare each game and its resource drainage.


 


on my example, 7dtd was not using the resources as bad as a fully finished optimized game by a very large company and that game is not a voxel based game.
