PC V3.0 Dead Hot Summer Dev Diary

So is this very old build of the game not the same experimental build you’re letting streamers get access to this weekend? He said “bandits hidden in 3.0” on that video—make it seem like he did have experimental access—just wondering how he’s able to show us on YouTube (very old build) bandits before you all unveiled them.

They somehow first released an old version to the streamers (or at least to JaWoodle). It was something like 50 builds of difference, if we assume "builds" to be roughly a daily event; about two months old. Not ancient, but in active dev terms, Old. Far enough back to be from the actual dev branch, perhaps; not a separate to-be-public streamer/3.0 branch where any "not ready yet" stuff is removed.

All of the above is pure guesswork of course .. ;)

I love the new (to me) magnitude and combine system! But can we find a better name for the workstation? Combine Station is awkward and uninspiring? How about one of these?

* Fusion Forge
* Synthesis Station
* Transmutation Station

Fabrication Station?
Tinker's Workbench?
Tinker Station?
Salvage Bench?
Assembly Table?
Modification Bench?

If we are posting game option suggestions in this thread, then I would like one of these (A is preferred):

A) The option to completely remove empty jars from the game again.

I think there is already an option (in 3.0) to "produce" empty jars at 0%. What is the difference between that, and what you're asking for?

Is it merely to remove jars from loot? Or removing jars from recipes? I could see those being options, but realistically, they seems like minor concerns to me.

They only added what modders have already done for years. :ROFLMAO:

No, modders may have already added those features long ago, but even if they are successful, by definition they added stuff that console players could not add, because console players do not have access to mods (and probably wont in the near future).

Please remember to consider non-PC mods. (As a modder it is a struggle for me, can't imagine what it is like for an official company like TFP.)
