If the number comes from the newspaper article linked here previously, the quote is "70 people". Maybe reread what Rooster Gold said, you may have missed that he started his post with "if" as well
Depends on what it is used for. If it is just to add new extra's there is no problem. When they start charging for the DLC it depends on what it is adding and if it preys on FOMO or P2W.
The moment it is used to sell cut content (wich is everything available at launch imho) or things that used to be on the roadmap in case of early acces then it is time to delete the game.

They were busy removing cool stuff nobody asked for removal (weapon/vehicle parts system, birch/maple trees, etc) and adding some cringe stuff nobody asked for adding (like magazines, magical candies/potions, etc)!
Our game hours does not matter because TFP themselves sit in the game 24/7 and understand better than us about what game needs
I believe it was answered in the Q&A that the other tree models (birch, maple) were removed for performance reasons. Which to me either translates into the models themselves being performance heavy, or having more than x amount of tree types (and I suppose foliage in general) would be costly in this manner. I don't know, I'm not a coder.

If its about old tree model than it would have sence but they didnt even tried to work with new models for them while current trees got remodeled! They always will find 1000 and 1 excuses
My position is I don't code. Maybe they're incorrect or delivering false information (or "an excuse"), perhaps they're incompetent in this respect and it could be done, or they don't/wouldn't know how to implement it nor do they have any plans on pursuing this, or perhaps it's simply not possible without sacrificing performance. In any case, I can neither confirm nor deny, putting me and realistically everyone else where in a position where we have to accept whatever is put down on the table. So with no disrespect, saying "it's an excuse" sounds like something an angry customer would say when the store clerk is telling them that they're out of stock of something. Unless it's proven otherwise, it is what it is.

There are some examples where they have been proven to be wrong however, such as with dual wielding guns. Clearly, if you look at a certain gun pack mod, it absolutely is possible. They're just treated as one firearm.
I will speculate, for the sake of argument, however and say that "it was removed due to x reason" could easily be an excuse for "it's not on our priority list and don't care". But I suspect that's a case by case basis.

I just love that @faatal pops in to answer questions to keep us on track. Also love that he seems to have Hammerdano on ignore as he never even responds to his dribble.

Now that's an excellent idea. Forgot about that functionality. Going to be a bliss. Thanks for mentioning it. And while im at it, going to put that russian kid on mute too.
I hope the game is completed before any monetization. Who knows how long the 7 Days to Die developers will be working for the corporation or what kind of deal they have, but I hope I won’t have to pay separately for the bandits, the story mode, or every future update(Although major updates will definitely be paid). The word “joined” may sound innocent, but you’d have to be naive to believe that. The game and its rights have been sold that’s final. I don’t mind monetization, and I’ll still buy what I like, but I don’t want to pay for something I’ve been waiting years for. I’m not too worried about gameplay changes, since version 3.0 will still allow players to customize the game to their liking. We’ll see what time brings maybe it won’t be so bad.
If the game is finished, I don’t mind microtransactions I mostly play this game anyway, so I could see myself paying for a DLC, like a new boss or a new biome, without any problem. I’ve already spent thousands of hours in this game, while there are games I’ve paid 60 euros for and only played about 30 hours to complete the entire story .
