PC Who lets the screamer scream

When I hear a screamer, I don't kill her immediatly, but antagonise her so that she screams a few times first, coz.... zombies are xp.

I haven't had a screamer in b233 yet though, but I'm trying...run the forge and campfire maniacly with dozens of torches but no screamers... day 8.

Where are you baby?

 
If I'm building, I will kill a screamer and deal with the summoned horde quickly, because lately in A17, there seems to be an out of control feedback loop. Screamers will summon more screamers who summon more screamers, and next thing you know, and endless stream of zombies is just dismantling all your hard work in seconds.

But yeah. If I'm idle and itching for some action, I'll get out in the mix of things and do some levelling.

I think they broke screamers or something. Even if I see one they don't summon a horde when they scream *shrug*

BTW, The Zombies have been inducted into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame...... about time.

 
25 campfires coming right up,... wait... that's 200 stone plus who knows how much wood.

Guess I've a lot of harvesting to do. :)

Hell no. I PRAY for the loop to happen. Free XP!! Had a loop of about a dozen a few night ago, it was awesome.

p.s. dear Devs, Screamers need a fairly large HP boost right now. They more or less insta-die to Iron Spikes, making it hard to get the mini-horde snowball rolling.

 
Hmm in a16 in my early days i had a screamer on day 7 if i dont rememeber wrong so but in a17 in 3 saves i reached day 27 15 and now 8 not a single screamer monkaS hope they start coming at week 2 or after xD better off not having them around. :greedy_dollars:

I had a couple screamers come by when playing B233 last night, but they never summoned a horde after they screamed. I didn't notice them for a bit since my base was built on top of the bank and they were wandering around on the inside confused for a bit before I dropped down to dispatch.

In MP with 4 of us living in close proximity with around 5 torches each and 1 campfire each we have been getting screamers starting on day 2-4ish. Easy levels, unless we don't have guns yet lol

 
I've done chain screamers great many times in A16, haven't tried it in A17 yet. It's a great way to improve your head bashing skills.

It kinda bothers me though - we are in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, fighting for our survival, and yet the best way to survive is to summon some more zombies.

i used to let screamers scream even in older alphas, for fun.
