In 16 days? I dont remember a DATE set, he just said "maybe some time in july" not "july 1" or w/e..
Also "underground dangers and zombies digging down" ..... underground dangers?? Graboids? Radioactive moles? Earthworm Jim?
------
Also, the devs are LAZY?? Why just because they don't post on here every single day telling us each little detail of what they did that day? Get real! I haven't been playing 7d2d for YEARS like some of you people (just one and a half), but I have played World of Warcraft for more than 10. They crank out expansions every two years, and major patches roughly yearly, and sometimes smaller patches every couple of months. HOWEVER, they make MILLIONS and have several hundred if not thousand employees working the game.
TFP could have released PART of the game, called it finished, and people would have played it. Then some time later they could drop a "Patch" to add another feature or two and some fixes, let people "beta test it" and then patch it in live.... then they could work on another part, and ect ect rinse repeat.
No, instead, they call it like it is to them, still an alhpa game, because to them it's not done yet, it's not yet where they want it. But they try to give us as much as they can, for us to enjoy and help them improve while they work their asses off in the background, trying to bring new fun things, and to try to fix things that might be broken, and sometimes in fixing things, other things get broken (this happened in wow too, like all the time).. So then they release it all in one large chunk. (because unlike WoW, the world is not static for this game)... Some patches would require new map seeds, and having to wipe a map because of smaller patches, constantly, will REALLY frustrate people who enjoy playing long term on servers (our servers are well into day 5000). It's better, and less frustrating on the players and the server managers, to only have to wipe once in a while, when they HAVE to.
I know this game is in it's "alpha" state, and I don't care, I play it like I do when I play WoW. i enjoy whats there, while it's there, (sure i whine about bugs) and then, like with wow, i get excited about whats new and up coming, and then when it's finally here, I'll load in and squeel at all the new shiny things, and prolly die a dozen times before i get the swing of it. (still dont like how fast the new run walk looks, might make me dizzy).
When they feel like they have all the features put in that they want to put in, they will dust themselves off, sweep the cutting floor into a pile, crank the game up and launch BETA, then the real fun begins, where bug reports will Really matter, but this is it, this is where the game takes it's sparkle. All the stuff is in, and now its time to polish it up. Then, when everything is just so, just how it needs to be, nearly bug less, everything amazing, then and only then, can it be called Finished, and I would expect nothing less.
So get off your high horse, and let them do their jobs, asking for your money back is ridiculous, it's not like you're paying a sub, you bought the game, you played the game for hours and hours, imo, it's more then met the price tag already. (heck some games now, you play and get like 40 hours of time in and you bea it, this at least has replay value, more so if you play random maps an on MP servers.)
If you are so horribly disgusted and bored, go play on a modded server, they will refresh the game for you, and keep your attention until the next release. (I still think they should work with a lot of these mod devs if they dont already, they really do create some great things, it would only server to improve their staff even more.)
until then, remove your panties from your craw, and chillaxe bruh.
