V2.6 Stable

I may build a dew collector for the aesthetics of having a complete crafting base with all the workstations. But in practice, a small well in the corner of my crafting base with a couple of campfires dedicated to making water seems just as viable as a few dew collectors and I can have that setup running long before I can get enough fully upgraded dew collectors built.

Now if they changed water collection to only being able to fill one jar at a time at a water source, THEN the dew collector would be the superior way to go. In that case I would start with a well and a fireplace until I could get a fully upgraded dew collector going and then switch over to that for the convenience of no longer having to fill up jars. It would make a nice progression.

IMHO that would be the wrong way, adding senseless tedium just to make the alternative viable. Better way would be to upgrade the dew collector: It should produce clean water without any mod, and produce mineral water with an expensive mod that would be available only later. Or relegate it to late game entirely and always produce mineral water.

No everyone has that date. Thats when experimental b14 was uploaded. Stable is exactly the same as that version. So there was no new upload and the date of 19th march will stay. There is no problem.
I could have sworn I just saw bdub share a screenshot that showed April 1st.

Here

You're absolutely right. Seems that if you had experimental installed the date doesnt change (since its exactly the same as stable release). And it will list april 1st if you hadnt. I had exp installed and mine says 19 march also (date of installation). Still no problem as in both cases you're running 2.6 b14. (y)

So who requested the zombie range damage to be updated and to spawn harder zombies in the biomes from day 1 ?
Hmm?
Who ?

You're going to the snow and wasteland on day 1? It's only for those biomes. I enjoyed the change, adds a bit more to the difficulty late game. with some guns and the right perks those biomes themselves don't feel like much of a threat without those variant zombies
