Then you also have convenience of not needing to make jars. If you want to use dew collectors for convenience, then there isn't anything wrong with how they are now. If you want jars to be a faster option, then it's not difficult to build near water (even a ditch) and gather waters much faster than if you are using dew collectors, making dew collectors unnecessary for you. For everyone who doesn't want to use jars, the dew collectors are their option. No need to try to make everyone use jars just because you like jars.

But you can already do that by digging a 2x2 hole in your base and filling it with water. You can fill stacks of water there with a click right at your base.

I never said i liked jars, i'm just going with the flow of how the game is going now... I couldn't care any less if jars are in the game or not.
 
Yeah, there was a talk about it back in time, someone suggested to make it usable just few times before being contaminated or just add some chance of disintery while using it.

This. Where they are needed, they should be recharged after time. Simple.

And I include those in the vehicles, too.
 
Yeah the helmet filter mod AND the Filter for the Dew Collectors should be limited use...but it would still be a good amount they can filter before they would go bad...I mean even a Lifestraw, can filter out 1000gallons of water before it goes bad...which is roughly 5 years of water for one person! Where as a Brita Filter is about 3 months or 6 months for an Elite Model...
So...in reality...making the filters in game limited use...is kind of pointless in the end lol

Now...stoves and improved cooking stations...so we can get that ■■■■ campfire out of our high end estate...THAT is where its at ;)
