V2.1 Stable

All i'd like to see is a fix for the terrible hitching issue on Xbox SX - been there since 1.0 and still continues to get me killed. I can deal with the framerate drops, but this hitching has been driving me nuts for nearly a year now and performance rarely improves from patch to patch disappointingly.

My console (so far only PS5) players are saying they can't join---they are getting this error after I updated to 2.1

Before I went into serverconfig to change the file, I logged in with my PC with no issues whatsoever.


Anyway, after I successfully logged in via PC, I logged off, and went to serverconfig.xml to change from "0" to "24", saved the file, as you can see below.

Uploaded the config file its appropriate bluefang folder, and now bluefang doesn't want to start up.

Submitted a ticket to bluefang in the hopes of hearing back with good news. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, I just started this crossplay server yesterday after getting the dreaded "EndofStreamException" error that corrupted my save. In order to do that I had to visit the crossplay requirements website which had a very long and detailed list that I very much appreciated---and now that list is replaced by a much shorter list----a shame we aren't allowed to disable airdrops now. I can't help this feeling that the airdrops change is behind all of this chaos after 2.1

Just wanted to add this onto that in case it helps anyone fix this problem----still not solved yet but working with bluefang to solve it (hoping its a problem on their end and not something from 2.1)

I had issues with launching 2.1 STABLE ... But there is 1 issue under the "F1" Check List
You Have a RED LINE on the New Block change That needs to be looked into ... this is the First time for this one just after Update ... All other are normal.

J'ai téléchargé la mise à jour mais impossible de rejoindre le serveur des amis avec qui je joue sur PC. Si à chaque mise à jour je rencontre un soucis c'est chiant quoi ...
 
Depuis la mise à jour

Depuis la mise à jour, je ne parviens plus à rejoindre mon serveur. Mon jeu indique que le client n'a pas pu autoriser le serveur. L'en-tête ci-dessous indique un échec de validation des données distantes. Des fichiers modifiés ont été détectés. S'agit-il d'un nouveau bug ?
J'ai exactement la mm chose que toi je suis sur Xbox série X et je peux pas rejoindre mes amis sur le serveur
 
Updated my server with the latest public release on steam but now it's now longer showing on PS5. Console version is V2.1 (B7)
 
Nvm. Fault is on HostHavoc side. It tries to update to 2.1 but keeps updating to 2.0. checked it on PC when trying to connect directly to the IP and mentioned Version mismatch
 
So Who decided to remove the ability for Admins to teleport to specific location via the ESC menu? That was stupid imo **edited so as to not upset space4ace**

Make sure that you select Switch Branch from the game console menu and set it to 2.1 stable

V2.1 is going stable today.
Along with all the additions, changes and fixes we also heavily reduced the settings and values important to crossplay servers.
This update also fixes the issue that would corrupt save games.

Here's what changed with V2.1:

Added
  • Storm affected zombies have increased hearing
  • Changing the 24 Hour Cycle setting will recalculate weather
  • Log serverconfig settings not compatible with consoles when ServerAllowCrossplay is set to true
  • Wedge60 Tip 1/2 Ramp Tip 1/2 Corner Left and Right to the shape menu
  • Wedge60 Tip 1/2 Ramp Tip 1/2 Corner Incline Left and Right to the shape menu
  • Missing localization for several POIs
  • Curtains and Drapes Variant Helper and recipe
  • Hanging Log 1 and 2
  • XML conditional function "has_entitlement", allowing to check whether the user has the named entitlement
  • Game Event Action for completing challenges.

  • Improved behaviour related to console cross play when server config is non standard
  • Reduced storm durations and how often they happen and less variations between biomes

  • Save would be corrupted if you repeatedly went near the same active scripted sleeper volume and then left the area
  • Hoarder helmet no longer babyfaces your character
  • Hazard Screen Effect for Wasteland and Snow Biomes do now stretch properly at ultra-wide resolutions
  • Permadeath is again dropping player backpack.
  • Hotswapping item consumable exploit
  • Miner's Mending perk repeatedly halves critical injury when swapping mining tools
  • Xbox series X/S lighting issue
  • Modding Bug: Lootable zombies no longer have localized names
  • Setting storms to 0% would not cancel a biome's current storm until the next random weather change
  • Zombies dying from old age are no longer dropping bags
  • Adjusted colliders on iron and wooden cellar doors to remove the thin gap that allowed a wallclip exploit
  • Players can once again report POI placed signs as the sign has no author
  • AI run away task did not respond to player noise

I have a Crossplay server and can report all of my Xbox and PS5 players can no longer connect with the error message stated in a previous post. "Remote data validation failed. Modified files detected". No items / files have been changed since updating to 2.1. I reset the server hoping to resolve this issue. No dice. The console players cannot find the server on the dedicated server list either. They can find it on favorites, but get the previously mentioned error when trying to connect. Console players were able to connect without issues yesterday (7/13). Any word we can get from the devs to potentially resolve this concern?
 
para poder crear una semilla de alguna planta, cafe, yuca, aloe, papas, necesitas 5 de la misma para hacer 1 semilla, es algo que no tiene sentido, no es rentable gastar 5 cafes para crear 1 semilla de cafe. no se si me explico, necesitas 5 plantas de cafe para hacer 1 semilla de cafe, que te dara 1 planta de cafe. en todo caso que 4 plantas de cafe te den 5 semillas para que sea rentable a largo plazo.

it seems like you haven't played enough... with advanced farming, one plant produces 5-6 fruits plus random seeds, which is always a plus
 
Does this mean no armor dying? :( I wanna be a rainbow power ranger dominating the zombie apocalypse!!!
It was explained in another topic that there was an error if you put dyes from the old system in the new armor. They removed the dye tags in order to prevent this. The implication was that this is a temporary measure and we will be able to dye again in the future.
 
I found a resolution to the console players getting the modded files error. I backed my server up to the most recent save in the back.uo files and I on Xbox series X was able to get on with no issues. Not sure yet if that would resolve for PS5 but my assumption is it would.
