V2.1 b7 EXP

Well they seem to like to blame it on a certain api mod without any research. Easy way. Now its in the fixed vanilla bugs. Go figure...

Sorry. I personally have no idea what you're talking about. "certain api mod"???

There was an issue with how sleepers were being loaded/saved and overloading a value causing an index out of range, but that has now been fixed.

Nice. Can we get the radiated mushrooms as placeables for the POI Editor please? They would be such a nice decoration. @schwanz9000

Those are "hidden" to make sure that when they are used in a Vanilla POI, they are mostly coming from biomeHarvestRandomHelper when the POI is in the wasteland. There are some special case POI's where they are used separately. Like in Area 7 for example.

You can use the following console command to spawn some in if you'd like to use them in your POI's.

giveself mushroomRadiated02 1 99 true
giveself mushroomRadiated04 1 99 true

hello,
before i report this as a bug i have been trying to gather some info seems this wrn it has been a while since we have seen it,
going back as far as 2018:

I am attempting to recall...
It appears that in the past if i am remembering correctly, the crawler was able to navigate through a one-block space?

Regardless of the situation, the warning seems to have returned 2.0+ and appears to activate on our server during blood moons.

I am presuming this is due to zombies now being able to push through one-block spaces.
The good news is it seems to autocorrect when the server is restarted but definately locks the panel up with the wrn message loop so fast no other server data can be listed,
If anyone has any insights on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

This Particle system is trying to spawn on a mesh with zero surface area, which happened to me a few days ago, causing the admin to have to restart the server.

Storms last longer not shorter. I didn't do the first exp build so I can't say how they were in it. In 2.0 storms (on default settings) lasted 5-6 mins. I did drop the frequency to 50% because that felt better to me and less predictable to daily storms. Now they last 6min and 45 seconds. I saw something about some 24 hour cycle clock issues were fixed so I don't know if that effected anything.

If this storm duration on default is intended then so be it. I'll just sit around for almost 3 ingame hours twiddling my thumbs.

Why? There is always so much to do.

In earlier builds (2.0), storms were lasting 10 minutes on default settings (I timed it at least 3 times on my phone to make sure of that). Now, after adjustments from TFP in 2.1 Exp, they last around like 6 - 7 minutes, so it's less time and an improvement.

There are night only and day only spawns that die automatically on reaching dusk/dawn. They used to occasionally drop loot bags when they 'died of old age', which pretty clearly wasn't intended.

I was unaware of this! I know direwolves would vanish when night ended previously, I didn't know they'd actually just die.

Yep. If you're watching one, you can see them die when it changes to day (assuming there were a night spawn). The same for other zombies. I used to come across yellow bags while driving around the map and I knew I hadn't killed the zombies that dropped those bags. It was just from zombies that died when morning came.

It seems that all zombies have a limited life span of varying lengths. I've seen zombies drop dead for no reason in the middle of the day.
I've also had screamers drop dead on their own if I wasn't able to kill them - so only a few in game hours. I've tested to see if zombies can damage each other and it doesn't look like they can.

And not all night spawned zombies die at dawn. Ferals will. I don't remember seeing if radiateds do.

Also, I've still been seeing random loot bags around between 2.0 and this latest update. So I assume one of the 2.1 exp builds broke it and those bags I've been finding were from when it wasn't broken?

That can of sham you ate must have some hidden powers.

Humor aside, me and my brother saw some of this, but decided to do a new game , updating to this one latest experimental and so far, it looks like it is fixed.

I started a new game with the new patch. Played long enough to have a rudimentary base. Walked over to my Land Claim Block, which I use as a base for my campfire. I don't know what I did, but the Land Claim Block exploded. The cooking pot and wood were saved in a loot bag.

I have never seen a Land Claim Block exploded. Crack, sure, if I put down a second Block -- but explode!?!

Anyone else seen this behavior?

If you hold "E", you have a choice of either "Show Bounds" or "Remove" the Land Claim Block. You must have removed it by mistake, which actually destroys the land claim block.

The fact it's accepted that all console/ crossplay players can't join rented servers for any stretch of time is ridiculous. They shouldn't be excluded from play for going on weeks, or even months. It makes anyone playing on console unable to compete with PC players on an even level. The PC players just like having the handicap on their scoresheet.
