If they're gated behind the crucible then they have nothing to do with water survival. They are for mass production of glue. By time you get the crucible your water survival issues are solved anyway.
Did madmole post this? Then why do you still need to ask? He is the owner of the company, you can't get a better source.
One correction though: "weapon combine" and "weapon parts" is not the same. TFP will likely make adjustments so the features work well in the current game, see the jars as an example, that they need a crucible is new.
For example TFP could simply make it so you can combine 2 complete weapons in the workstation and the resulting weapon has slightly more damage than the better of the combined weapons. The weapons already have slightly randomized properties when you build them and that could be used by the weapon combine features without really overhauling the whole weapon concept.
Or they could simply give some quality value to weapon parts but still have identical weapon parts, not broken up into 4 distinct parts like it was around A15
Cool, jars.. and other features coming back, Heck yeah- I think. Smell is good, I like more danger.
Weapon part combination is potentially fun- if it isn't just a way to inflate our numbers even faster - I think I'm gonna cry balance over it.
Got mixed feelings on jars, but I suppose the only one that really maters is how they will impact early water and glue production, I expect I'll be crying balance some more.
Oh the note of crying balance. Honey is feeling more obtainable than ever in the early game and they're going to be adding an apiary for honey production..
I'm hoping they look into upping the chances to get infected from ferals/rads in an upcoming patch.. or maybe adding a recipe that calls for it.

I'll be removing that for myself if true. I don't want them in loot or returned after use. If people want them and can craft them then I'm glad they'll have that option. I'll probably remove murky water from loot while I'm at it if empty jars get back into the loot tables.
I hope the jars won't be added to loot. If they are, I have to use a mod to remove them again. If they are only something you can craft and you can ignore them entirely, then I don't really care what they do with them because I'll just never craft any.
Since TFP seems to be cracking under pressure, then I want this back too:
World elevations that looks like stairs (think of Minecraft) as it was in early builds. Make it a thing! (of course it's a joke!)
Thought I seen someone say something about gracie roaming around in the biomes, either way, still prefer gracie to stay in the 2 places that I know she's at lol

Is this real? I wounder what the weapon combining will do sense its not 1 to 600 anymore. Im hoping it will just improve stats or something cuz i would love to upgrade weapons with faster reload/attack speed
Still sad we lost the plains and he forgot about the maple forest but I dont blame him tbh they looked the same kinda.
But learn by doing IMO..could work for Very specific things. Weapon skills, athletic activities, healing, armor skill, trading, etc could work. Gives you like 1% per point but its nice to have once you level it up.
I wouldn't want the old system of crafting 68o5r68 axes. The magazines could come in in terms of leveling up. Or you could physically level it yourself with points. Like learn by leveling. But at the cost of perk points.

And I got sick when he mentioned starfeild..yuck but comparing it too another Bethesda game. Skyrim had a pretty ok LBD system kinda like what im suggesting
