PC V2.0 Storms Brewing Dev Diary

@faatal

Roland suggested that I ask you this question here.

If accepting a quest at the marker, can instantly reset a POI lot, and a buried supply area.
Without changing too much code. Is it possible to have an empty lot or a destroyed lot, that becomes potentially
an alternate poi upon accepting? As long as they have the same length width dimensions.

I am asking because I was randomly thinking, of event placed POIs. I know the quest mechanic was not built for that
but I was curious regarding the possibility of tying events to the reset mechanic.

I am not asking if you or TFP can change the code, I am asking is it hypothetically a modding possibility.
IIRC that's Prime's area of expertise.

I don't think anyone said Grace in the forest lmao 🤣
Thought I seen someone say something about gracie roaming around in the biomes, either way, still prefer gracie to stay in the 2 places that I know she's at lol

If there was any reports in those two sections, they probably got moved to their appropriate places.

They are just not using those subcategories. They are processing the bug reports if you go into them and read them. And work is being progressed as we see a lot of them being close out and they informing the player base that an upcoming build will push out the fixes.

Are we trying to start a conspiracy here?

J'utiliserais probablement un poi comme celui-là comme base de secours pour les hordes ultérieures.
Pré-endommager stratégiquement les voitures restantes et les utiliser comme
Claymores. Comme les vieux tambours. Ils sont efficaces pour contrôler les foules.

La mine terrestre fait un clic.
Yeah, i agréé, this game dont have a instantaneous blowup bomb/trap😂

Guys (& gals) make sure to check the damage on your weapons when "upgrading" to a higher level.
Today I found a level 5 auto shotgun...I was using a level 4. Hell yes, score right?!

Well for whatever reason, after taking the mods out of my level 4, I wanted to see the comparison to base damage. I never do this, always just assume the next level will be better.

Well the base damage on my current level 4 was 124. The base damage on the level 5 was was like 12.5 or something like that.

Now I did have slugs loaded into the level 4 and had not yet loaded any into the level 5....I know this matters but holy crap! Not by that much right?

Anyone else see anything like this?

Any gear above primitive has a smattering of randomization to its stats

It actually does matter in this case, as a slug is one round that deals high damage, while the shotgun defaults to showing the regular shell's per pellet stats, IIRC. The ammo type loaded will always affect what you see.

How do you compare them? If you're just looking at their stats, consider the ammo they're loaded with. I usually highlight one weapon and hover the mouse over the other; the game clearly shows the difference in stats, regardless of modifications or ammo.

So... if I understand correctly Jars are back, but are gated behind the crucible?

Will they work like before where you can get murky water from rivers and lakes?
Will they be found in loot?

I'm asking because if that's the case, water survival will be back to square one.
If they're gated behind the crucible then they have nothing to do with water survival. They are for mass production of glue. By time you get the crucible your water survival issues are solved anyway.
