Yep! I'm also using the DLSS mod with DLSS 4 override! It is far superior to TAA and FSR in performance and sharpness. The blurriness is completely gone with DLSS Quality and image is sharp as a tack. I'm also running Lossless Scaling 3.0 frame gen and even in downtown areas I'm averaging over 110 fps now. I used to struggle to maintain 35 fps downtown! The DLSS and Torch mods + DLSS 4 + Lossless Scaling framegen have given me absolutely massive performance and quality gains.

As for SSGI, yeah, I know it has its limitations. But I'll still take screenspace GI over no GI at all, when it's an option.  🤷‍♂️

Believe this man and try it yourself folks, I'm also using DLSS Mod+DLSS4 performance mode (in my case 4k upscaled from 1080p) and looks mindblowing, it's night and day compared with TAA or FSR. Torch mod is highly recommended while Lossless scaling feels for me unpolished compared with other frame gen solutions, but anyways better to have at least 60fps as a baseline in all of them.

next YOUTOOZ

need dire wolf

also, stop asking for all this extra stuff, the pimps are doing good job working on bugs atm quit trying to get them sidetracked its annoying.

Hey Fataal, could you please feed my cat? Also the fence in my garden needs some new paint! --- I am sure you can do that on the side if you don't get sidetracked by all the requests of GrandpaMinion
🤪

Has anyone else noticed that zombies can destroy blocks (if multiblocks?) without the downgrade stage?
Or is this normal now?
Yes, there is no downgrading of blocks now.  (Well, besides doors/windows but those are still the same material, so not really downgrading in the way you mean).

i personally feel the reason why 7D2D is taking longer is that they're expanding their staff thin; with the making of Blood Moon's or something.
I'm picturing in my mind that if all focused on hammering out 1 game at a time - putting resources to bug fixes, another to expansion / add-on's and group to bug-test the said things done above, that awesome results can occur ... just my thoughts. *shrugs*

Blood Moons is being developed by Illogicka, not The Fun Pimps. TFP is only assisting them in an advisory role for supporting the engine, and any future engine changes that may be ported over.  Something that doesn't require more than two or three people doing part-time.

The other games being worked on are again done by a few people part-time when they do not have anything currently pressing in development for 7 Days. For the most part these are people working on art assets and other similar designs. Something that does not impact the development time or bug fixing for 7 Days.

TFP's dev staff is around 60+ developers, with teams assigned to different bits of development or bug fixing. Then you have the paid QA staff working on helping to sort bugs with additional assistance from volunteer internal testers.

So the picture in your mind might need to be updated.

It's here: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/6781?tab=files

So far, I think it's great. My FPS seems more stable and stays higher in the busy towns.

@faatal Please have a look at this, if time permits of course (I know how busy you are).

@faatalDid I dream this or is 7 Days to Die suppose to have support for DirectX 12 at some point?
:ballchain:

Thanks for the link... but sadly my card is way below that kind of stuff with all the Rs and all the Ts and all those other Xs too.
