Kinda was hoping for unreal or something

You beat me too it
I too thought the next games were going to be on UE. Even imagined 7 Days To Die 2 on UE5) Though I think when the sequel comes out, it will already be UE6 or even UE7. The sequel is clearly worth waiting for in the next decade, not before. And that's if there will be one.

However, TFP could probably do much better on Unity if they made the game from scratch. Unity is constantly developing and improving. After all, UE5 isn't a miracle. Just having it won't give us a good game. I won't deny that I like UE better than Unity, though. But the most important thing is how developers will use it.

i'd settle for a toggle to turn quick select off! simply not having a key mapped to it doesnt stop it from self triggering.

Hmm... is it a bug to get two Trader Jen(s) in the same biome?  :suspicious:

Not that I mind, but it's never happened to me before.

I'm playing b14 with just a small UI/HUD mod.

You can have multiple traders per biome. It just depends on the map size and how towns get laid out.  You will always have the same traders in the same biomes, though.

Tbh, I prefer the traders being random. Sort of liking them being biome specialised, but if the town is bigger and there is more than one, I`d love the second, third, etc be random..
I agree.  I don't like multiple of the same trader in the same biome like it is now.  But I don't use RWG anymore, so it doesn't really matter much to me.  But I still feel things like that should be optional in a "Random" World Generator regardless of any plans for a story.

I play with a 40% setting, I encounter water, not often, but it does happen.
I'm assuming you're using a mod? As 40% isn't an allowed standard setting.

If so, it would explain why you're having a very different experience as it probably does reduced loot differently to how vanilla does.

If you're not and actually using the 37% setting vanilla, how often is not often? 200 toilets is a pretty good sample size so if you're getting 1 in 4 or something then I may have other issues.

If I knew how to do it I would make custom maps that allowed for random building placement. Traders, roads, biomes, stamps, and tiles would all be permanent. Maybe have a few buildings that never changed depending on the map

There are no mods. When setting up a server, the percentage of production is entered into the configuration file manually, as much as you write, that's how much it will be.
