After latest download most doors wont open when you push button to activate. Also fall through floors that you should not.

I played a fresh save from day 1 till just after horde night.
The music is fixed and might actually be better. It sounds like I'm hearing different iterations of some of the songs, though that could be due to me paying more attention to the music this time around.
I did not play long enough to get quests in the troublesome POIs but I got many confirmations that they no longer glitch.
I will have to try playing a V1.3 save to see if anything breaks.

It is entirely up to Microsoft. TFP sent them the build so it could be released on all platforms at the same time.
MS Store Devs are the reason it isn't available yet.

So, the target date was for today but got pushed back by several weeks, did I read the website correctly? Not trying to be a nuisance or anything, just wanting to make sure that I have all my facts correct.

They were only ever "hopeful" for the 15th. It was never a set date.
A few weeks ago, they even stated that it wasn't likely on the 15th due to Steam Tuesday Maintenance. Most developers avoid releases on Tuesday because of the outages.
When faatal made that statement, he said they were hoping for the 21st, but wasn't sure they could finish up the work they needed in time.
Just a few days after that it was confirmed that there would be a delay of a few weeks because critical systems were not fully fleshed out and tested.
On the 12th, it was officially announced that the update has been delayed by several weeks.
And again, I want to make something very clear that most people do not seem to understand, or simply do not want to accept...
The Unstable Experimental release, IS NOT the actual release. It is for testing purposes ONLY. It is not for long-term saves.
The ONLY reason to opt-into this unstable build is to test new features and report bugs.

Yeah, that's what I meant @SylenThunder for the experimental. Sorry I should have worded that differently.

You mean "Since Microsoft"? This is not the only multiplayer game that has issues wich do not occure on Steam or PSN.
(Is this what they had in mind with "Xbox exclusive?)
The update is still not available on Microsoft Platforms, there something TFP can do? Talk with Microsoft or something. I already wrote to Microsoft support but they tell me they can do nothing.
. I would guess there might also be always a small chance that the submission process failed to work correctly without anybody noticing.

Tell your friends to revert back to 1.3 until the update hits and then you can all keep playing together. There isn't anything particularly earth-shattering about 1.4 that I could see especially if you aren't involved with Twitch Integration. 1.3 is still very playable.

as its now taken 2 weeks for a lowly minor update from 1.3>1.4 (the second time in as many months) to be pushed out to Xbox PC version and preventing multiplayer cross platform play with other family members . We have all switched to playing State of Decay to smash Zombies.
I might check back in a month or two to see if anyone has attempted to get the delay resolved by which time another update will probably be round the corner and the game will "break" again
