PC V1.4 Stable

Yep WTF 1.4 still hasn't dropped on Xbox app PC LOL I starting to think was it good idea afterall to switch to xbox version of 7dtd from Steam after this but I guess I still wait but I am starting to lose my patience too LOL. Well at least mods always work with xbox version on PC just like Steam.

Three weeks isn't a month.  It is pretty silly though.

I've seen it happen with plenty of games. Anything not created or promoted by Microsoft is at risk. Especially games still being developed.
You have seen plenty of games where the console xbox version is released and the Xbox pc app version isn't? I would get if it were both

Try ARK. The crossplay part of ASA failed due to the unparrallel launch and patching. Steam first, PS5 and Xbox later, even the Xbox/windos PC versions suffer there. Seems Xbox is treating itself worse than other platforms.

Any news about the 1.4 update on the Microsoft Store?
It's been almost a month since the release, and it's still not available there. Just wondering if there's any update or ETA. Thanks!

This is not the place to ask. Try adressing Microsoft, they know more than anyone here.

Na man I prefer PC even tho I use Microsofts Xbox app for PC gaming instead of Steam atm. I used to be an active console player but I highly prefer PC due to various of reasons and PC has more freedom and free hands than consoles so far.

@ChaseNum

I have a question regarding your post.  You said you use the xbox app to play

the games on your pc. That would include 7 days to die. So do you pay the

platinum subscription to have access to the game?

7 Days hasn't been in GamePass for over a year now.  They removed it around the time the first word about 1.0 was being announced. You need to have purchased the game in the Xbox/MS Store to have access to it atm.

Thank You @SylenThunder

I'm going to retire my microsoft questions now. The more I read the more

confused I get. There are basically 3 services as read, Gamepass, Microsoft App,

and Cloud service Beta ultimate. I know that The app is basically like the steam

app on pc. But the other two, feel a little like overlap. Are those both streaming

services, that can access pc tv or console, or is there a major limitiation in one

ultimate to another?  After you answer That will be the last of my curiosity, I swear.

This lays it out for GamePass.  The different levels for it are detailed.   I had GamePass Ultimate when it was $14, and then unsubbed when they started adding tiers and increasing prices.

"Microsoft App" is just basically the MS Store app. The "X-box app" on your PC is basically just the MS Store app with a filter for games, extra adverts, and a different layout. It's still the MS Store app. There is a similar app for Android and iOS which has some additional features we will talk about in a moment.

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is a new service included in the GamePass Ultimate subscription that allows you to stream your games pretty much anywhere. Very much like GeForce Now. You can even play most games on a phone or tablet using the app with this feature.

Got it
Microsoft Store = Steam store
Xbox app on pc  = Steam app on pc    both just access respective store. with a client GUI

Subscription services
Game pass, Is split into two sections Xbox pass  Pc pass
4 levels core console /standard console / PC /and Ultimate which is both
Ultimate is all inclusive console pc tv phone stream and includes
Xbox cloud beta. Which is access to the entire library using any
supported device.

That page was en punto /  on point.    That's why they undersell their consoles at a loss.

They get paid from two different sources constantly, the members, and the developers,

both being bent over a barrel, no grease no reach around.  Isn't that considered a Monopoly

which was frowned upon when I rode the dinosaur.

Thank you for you patience and time.

Na man I own the game in library and owned it since it came was it like spring 2022 but I played a lot in steam before that. 7DtD PC version arrived to xbox app during alpha 20 version in early 2022. I also play with mods

For those curious, I have heard through the grapevine that MS PC finally passed certification.
Yea I just got the update successfully, about time lol but better now than later or never :D

Not really. A monopoly would be, as an example, if they did something that would keep Xbox as the only significant console, making it so other consoles had little change to do well.  Or if they made it so the Xbox app was so ingrained into the OS that most people wouldn't use anything else.  Those are simplifications, but it basically needs to limit competition in some way.  Having many options to use their own stuff and making it so you might pay extra or whatever isn't the same thing.

A Monopoly is also a board game that breaks families apart.
