True Survival

it will recharge the battery during daytime. not sure if there's a solar panel in this mod. in vanilla, there is.
Its charge is not changing in interface window, i guess generator "repairs" it like it done in minibikes. But i am not sure.

Made Lockers, faucets and Metal store shelves now disassemble with Screwdriver

Great job on the Concrete Sledge balancing.. it feels perfect.

About the store shelves - storeShelving01 appears to be the block you edited to allow it to be harvested. Three other shelves 'extend' that initial shelf however do don't appear to inherit the ability to be harvested, so I investigated.

I found that if you manually put all the properties of the first shelf into the other 3 they are able to be harvested with the screwdriver.

So the code would be like this:

Code:
<block id="522" name="storeShelving01">
	<property name="DescriptionKey" value="furnitureGroupDesc" />
	<property name="Material" value="metal" />
	<property name="Shape" value="Ext3dModel" />
	<property name="Texture" value="293" />
	<property name="Mesh" value="models" />
	<property name="Model" value="Commercial/store_shelving01" param1="main_mesh" />
	<property name="EconomicValue" value="18" />
	<property class="RepairItems">

	<drop event="Harvest" name="scrapIron" count="10" />
	<drop event="Destroy" count="0" />

	<drop event="Destroy" name="scrapIron" count="1,5" tool_category="Disassemble" />
	<drop event="Fall" name="scrapMetalPile" count="1" prob="0.75" stick_chance="1" />
</block>
<block id="523" name="storeShelving01Double">
	<property name="DescriptionKey" value="furnitureGroupDesc" />

Hope that helps and I not sure why they don't properly extend the initial block. Perhaps it's because it was not a new save?

Anyhow, the changes I made allow all of them to be harvested even without having a new game/save.

@JJJ

That setting, "maxspawned zombie = 80" is set in the serverconfig.xml found in the root directory of the game. This file is for running the dedicated server and doesn't (to my knowledge) affect games played SP/MP with the client.

This seems to be a re-occuring issue for some people. I do not believe it's the mod that is causing the problem, but the mod could be heavier than the system normally runs, so the problem occurs.
All I can advise you is to update your video drivers, and maybe your motherboard drivers as well.
sphereii

Thank you for giving me good advice!

I'll try.!!

So if I want to host a multiplayer game with my computer do I have to change some setting or not ?

Thanks you for your reply.

If you want to use the dedicated server and not the P2P option, then yes you need to edit the serverconfig.xml file in the root directory of 7 Days to Die.

And if I make un P2P I have to change some option ? Like set zombie horde 64 for example ? Or should I let all setting as default ?

Same here. I followed the install steps for the mod launcher but when i start a Sp game I dont get the starting class selection and load outs and the hud looks to be vanilla ( the mod in the bottom left hand corner showing health etc hasnt loaded ). The quests are also missing but the skills menu is TS not vanilla.
But this is how i fixed it. After you run uninstall 7DTD go to your steam 7DTD folder and either delete it or rename it. Then if you have ever played TS Mod before go to the C:7DTD folder and delete or rename the True Survival folder. Then reinstall 7DTD, roll it back to 16.2 open the mod launcher and reinstall TS - this should take a while to complete. Voila playable TS.
Thanks Jolly that worked. Dunno how since I have reinstalled the vanilla game and TS a number of times a few weeks ago for other reasons, but the one time I do it as you described.... murphys law

Yeah, change those settings as per the instructions on the first page that you can in the standard options.

So it is ok if I can't change all them ? Will it work if I change only the one I can in the standard option ? Thanks you for your time.

Spider, hello, I'm sorry if you already answered, but I'm going crazy looking like I could unlock the making of alcohol? I know it's done in the still, but I do not find how. Greetings and thanks.

16.3

Hi Spider,

I was wondering if this mod will be updated to 16.3 or is it going to stay 16.2? I wanted to start a game with friends but don't want to start a new game when 16.3 gets updated since the fun pimps made a major change from 16.2 to 16.3 and had to start a new game in vanilla to get decent random gen map.

Thanks

hi apanax, alcohol i think can only be made by profession class, which is Chef and Bouncer

For what it's worth, I'm playing SP and only changing those settings available from the standard menu, and it's working fine.
