Simple suggestions for the next update.

Before I begin,I would like to explain that my English is not good.Sorry.Then I will explain some of my ideas on the optimisation of this game.
I saw that this 3.1ver update has an update to increase the stacking multiplier of items. This is very good, but not enough. To give an example,a Grover high task, when we complete it, some of us may need or like to load all the supplies here, and this is also a large amount.----This means that a backpack,a vehicle and a drone should be responsible for the transportation of bullets, food, med, armour, etc. at the same time.,and even all of them must be transhipped in a short time. Can you directly increase the capacity of the backpack in the sandbox option?Even twice as much is enough to cope with it.Or design some armour. Its attribute is to expand the back tolerance.
Next, the level of the module has been added in the recent update. However,it is unacceptable for us to only do first-level modules. At the same time, the production of open sixth-level modules may indeed be unchallenging. We hope that the producers can open up the production of level 1 to 4 modules and include the relevant module production levels into the sandbox options.
Then there is the update about zombies. In these years, the type of zombies have been rarely updated. Most of them add a skin to the zombies----like rainbows, and then add some values to bite the players.I hope that the zombies update direction can be put more on the species in the future.
Another point is the current weapons. We have shotguns, rifles, machine guns and so on.What I want to say is not that the current weapon is not powerful.I just hope to add more variants of weapons on the basis of various technology states.
Finally, this is not a suggestion.I just hope to see the bandit version as soon as possible.
I personnally think this game is the most interesting game I have seen in recent years.Hope to continue to be actively updates.

I'd like to be able to craft backpacks in the "Clothing" category. Backpacks can increase the number of inventory slots. (I don't want to have to use mods every time to get a bigger backpack.)

I consider inventory management a part of a survival game. People that need 30k stacks and 100+ slot backpacks is insane to me. The drone also went from like 16 slots to 40 slots now in 3.0, which to me is also a bit much considering you can stack up to 4 cargo mods in it on top of that to make it 72 slots. If you are running 30k stacks and have a vehicle and a drone and that's still not enough inventory I'm not sure the problem is the game.

Not only what bdubyah said, but a LOT of the loot you find is stuff you'll never use, so bringing it back to your base and holding onto it isn't necessary. And since money is so easy to get in this game, unless you're constantly buying from the trader, there's no need to bring stuff back just to sell it. As a side note, you can also scrap things and reduce the number of items you need to carry... don't need that radiator because you already have some and never use them? Scrap it and carry the brass instead, which will stack with the rest of the brass you have. Yes, you lose some resources scrapping in inventory versus using the forge for things you can use in the forge like those radiators, but it's not really a big deal.

Inventory management is important for this kind of game. They have talked about possibly doing backpacks, but it really isn't necessary. There is a LOT of extra space in your vehicles and drone already since 2.x. If we could manage inventory fine before that extra space was added, there is no reason people can't do so now that they have so much extra space. And if you can't... well, even more space won't change that. You'll just load all that up and then want more.

Me staring at the piece of paper I left in the POI
Yep... the paper that you have a few thousand of sitting at the base already and will never use. Hehe. But yeah, it can be hard to decide what to leave behind sometimes. That's part of the game, though. And not a bad part. There is PLENTY of space available already. If someone really can't leave stuff behind even knowing they'll never use it, it's not exactly hard to return and grab it. When I was first playing the game, I would place small "shacks" near all of the traders with half a dozen storage boxes in them. Then I'd fill them up with all the stuff I would get doing quests in the area. Every so often, I'd run around with my 4x4 (or some other vehicle, but usually that since it has more space) and collect what I'd left behind. That was before I started not bringing back everything if I didn't have the room for it. I realized there wasn't any reason to bring back a lot of stuff.
