I was looking for an off-topic forum but did not see one. I've never used EAC (only play with friends and none of us are special enough to be considered cheaters, but I despise things that have more access to my system than I do) but when running a monthly scan on my Synology NAS I got the following results and I about died. I have almost every version of 7 Days backed up after a clean install onto my NAS so I can play any version any time. EAC was bundled with it for many of these versions and I saw this after the scan.
For those who are unaware of humor, EAC is NOT malware. It is an insanely invasive anti-cheat that does have a backdoor built into it to bust cheaters. My antivirus dislikes software like this and does the same thing for BattlEye. The Pimps are NOT spreading malware. Now laugh!
