PC Pimping malware!

I was looking for an off-topic forum but did not see one. I've never used EAC (only play with friends and none of us are special enough to be considered cheaters, but I despise things that have more access to my system than I do) but when running a monthly scan on my Synology NAS I got the following results and I about died. I have almost every version of 7 Days backed up after a clean install onto my NAS so I can play any version any time. EAC was bundled with it for many of these versions and I saw this after the scan.

For those who are unaware of humor, EAC is NOT malware. It is an insanely invasive anti-cheat that does have a backdoor built into it to bust cheaters. My antivirus dislikes software like this and does the same thing for BattlEye. The Pimps are NOT spreading malware. Now laugh!2024-10-25 7 Days to Die EAC Malware.png

What are we talking about again?
Your "creative spelling" of whatever "@%$#" was. In a strict sense that might be a rule violation (not that I want you penalized for it, I'm just advising some caution with those .. ;) )

I'm not afraid.  I ban myself from here all the time.  :p

At the moment, antivirus software can also be classified as malicious. If earlier it scanned only for viruses, now almost all antiviruses constantly send your documents to their server. And who has access to them on this server is secret information.
