I was driving my motor bike in navezgane between desert and burnt forest biomes and suddenly my game crashed with brrrrttttt sound. I couldnt close the game or open the task manager I had to shut down the computer.

Now my save file doesnt load. It almost completes loading screen but some errors appear in the console.

Please tell me how can we understand the problem.

Is it possible to change the location of my character from save files maybe that can help to solve the problem.

I also experienced something similar today getting an issue when it fents to splat maps. Also was going in between burnt and desert biome on the motorbike when this occurred.

I also got the same error. i read that if you delete your saved profile you could possibly be able to be back in the game. i will delete it and let you know if it works.Screenshot 2025-07-07 000958.png

Note: It is better to post your own bug report unless you are sure that the problem is the same. In this case, two of you have the same error and the third has a different error. Trying to respond to different problems in the same thread just confuses everyone.

Now, for the original poster, since you are the only one who included a log...

You can attempt to delete the region file(s) from your save game - go into your Saves folder and open the world and save and you'll see the Region folder. You can delete those and see if the game will regenerate them and work for you (you should start by just seeing if any region has 0 file size and only delete that). This may not work, though. And you should keep a backup of the files just in case it doesn't, though you probably won't be able to recover your game if it doesn't work. You should also be aware that deleting region files will wipe out any changes made to the map, including your base. This is why you should start by only removing any 0 byte files as those are already broken. If that works, then you only lose stuff in those regions but the other regions aren't wiped out. If it doesn't, you can try others and even do them one-by-one to see if you can avoid losing your base.

The other thing to remember in the future (it won't help you now) is that if the game crashes for any reason, you should NOT try to load your game until you make a backup of both the save and the automatic backup of the save. You can then try to load your save and see if it works or if it is corrupted. If it's corrupted, copy your backup of the automatic backup over the top of your save and try. That automatic backup will usually work, but only if you did not try to load your game from a corrupted save. That's why you should back it up before trying to load the game after a crash.

I was really hopeless that I would solve this problem but hey , good news xD I really wouldnt play for a long time if I wasnt able to recover my save.

I deleted 0 file size documents in region and started the game but It gave 1 error on a specific region file in the console. So I also deleted that problem and tadaa. I spawned about 200 meters away from my bike without any other problems (I was on the bike when I crashed)

Thanks a lot for your solution. That worked like a charm for me.

Well that was my second error after I deleted 0 file size documents in Region file. I also deleted that named file in Regions and it solved the problem for me. Maybe you should try it aswell.

Yours mentioned minscript, so it may relate to the bug in 2.0 with minscript. That's fixed in 2.1, but if you already had a messed up game from it, that won't help you. If it's that bug, then try deleting the main.ttw file from your world folder and renaming the main.ttw.bak to main.ttw and see if it works. You may want to keep a backup of it before deleting it. If that doesn't work, your save may just be corrupted and you may not be able to recover it. As mentioned above, if your game crashes, you shouldn't try loading your save without making a backup of it first (including of the backup of the save) in case it's corrupted so you can try the backup. Once you try loading it, the backup will include any corruption and you may have no way to recover a save after that happens.

Thank you for reporting.
Looking at your log, you seem to have several region files with wrong file names.
Try navigating to
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\Navezgane\xebec\Region\
and delete all the files that start with "error_backup".

My 7 Days to Die game isn't working. I try to enter my world and the loading screen stays on Initializing World and never enters the world. I don't know why, yesterday I played the game a lot and it had a lot of lag, but I kept playing and I disconnected because I had to do some things. When I came back to play, it wouldn't let me in. I'm on PS5, what's the solution?

The first thing is to make your own thread. As mentioned above, mixing up a bunch of different problems in one thread is not a good thing. Especially when this thread isn't even about PS5.

I already made my own thread, but they haven't given me a solution to the error, I don't know if you can help me.

Sorry, but I don't use console, so don't have any suggestions. Otherwise, I would have posted something for you. You will need to wait until someone who knows PS5 can help.
