Ideas sharing

Greetings,

Here are my recent ideas from recent gameplay sessions.

* Add engineer’s google that would see blocks with different colors based on their dmg level. (Would help to find damaged blocks when repairing base)

* Add parachute when jumping or falling from high bases / POI .

* Add feature for zombies climbing on top of each other and then jumping towards the player. (Zombies making the line to get killed reduces the challenge such as in a 1 x 4 narrow corridor).

* I think animals should disengage when players reach high ground instead of going to hit all blocks to make the player fall

* Zombies should die from bleeding out (after losing limb).

* There should be an option to prevent yellow / blue / red bags dropping from enemies to depop (I think such an option to add time was added in the 2.0 update)

* The game differentiate itself from others by having structural integrity (for horizontal constructs). Will it be another game that’ll introduce the structural integrity for vertical construct (such as 150 cement block built on top of 1 wooden block)? 7D2D could improve the gaming history further by adding vertical structural stability (max weight based on material).

* the ability to move structures / objects in a base (such as item boxes, chemistry station, workbench) to redesign base interior. I mean common, the guy can carry 6000 rocks, but he cant move a box inside his base?

* Add a Steam workshop for sharing bases / constructs .

Cheers,

The workstation and chemistry station can already be moved if you've placed a Landclaim Block. Crates cannot though, and I can see how that can be frustrating once you upgrade from wood.

Add a Steam workshop for sharing bases / constructs .

You probably already know Steam Workshop support is on the list of future features, but I'm not sure anyone has talked about using it to share bases. Would this be along the lines of in the game you want to make a base from a blueprint?

I would love to see a Lawnmower. First use being mowing down all the fiber quickly so you can make cloth or other items. Secondly, I think it would be hilarious just mowing lawn in a survival game because its not something you would see.

Or if like the end game is reclaim the zone for civilization.

I would also love to see a mini map in the corner of the screen.

That would mean, it would take 5000 grass to make 1 stack of cloth.. You willing to mow 0.5 kilometers or so of grass to get it?

Yeah, even if they were to add it, which is unlikely, they would probably just make it so you couldn't get grass from it to avoid it being too easy to get grass.

Vertical stability used to be a thing. Not sure if it is any more, not something I've ever really tested. But yes, you could cause a pillar to collapse by putting a bunch of weight on a weak block.

There also used to be a mini map. It was removed, and it very, very unlikely to return.

After which, all the skyscrapers in the game will collapse, since they stand on clay blocks.
