I wanted to give it some corn. Really. I had plenty of meat. But nooooo. He attacked me anyway. ■■■■ abrasions. Put some aloe on it and cut them half but they don't go away. Why couldn't it give me a concussion? I can cure that

D54, or so I thought.
I had stepped out for dinner in RL. Come back and I am at the spawn screen. I am like WTF? The game was paused. So I spawn on the bed, my backpack is right next to me, hhhmmm. Since I am in my lair, not my horde base, I am puzzled how they got in. I am in the church PoI, the one with the stone fence. I go up stairs, and my entry door is gone, same with fence door.
Suddenly it dawned upon me, and as I gazed at the day counter.....D57. ARGH!
I DID NOT PAUSE THE GAME!
I am not going to look in the mirror as I may have donkey ears growing.

A21 First Play Through D6.
I was really doing good, getting full of myself. Drinking murky water, not getting the runs, refused to buy a a pot from the trader 'cause well, there is houses to loot.
It took me a couple of days (RWG 10k map), to get to a suitable town to clean up. New sheriff in town sorta thing.
Cleaned up a welcome travel center, big gas tank (BTW, thank you for making the hatch closeable now, or was it before? Cant remember), setup a small overnighter in it.
Picked up a second house (first one didnt give a pot from the kitchen), nice quint one level, a fixer upper but not much to do.
Cleaned up the Zs, no pot in kitchen but ...hey a basement. Carefully went down the steps, saw the suited Z, forget his name. Shot him at the noggiing and missed. Either the whistling arrow or me stepping over the trigger woke up Mr Spider Z behind the couch, previously out of sight.
So I start back pedalling shooting arrows and clubbing and running out of stamina, start bleeding..........any ways, I die and get ate up.
So I start thinking, what could I have done better. Then it hit me, like a lightning bolt from Zeus himself.
The bolt had a nice Neon message that flashed in front of me.
"That is a nice T3 Pipe MG you have there in your toolbelt cowboy".... I looted it two days earlier.

Get to basement, except this time it was a dire burnt zombie, so I ran, got chased down. Fumbled my mouse key presses.
1.Club with burning shaft mod? Nope,
4.Bandage? Not yet,
3.Bow? No darn it!
5.Oh ya, Key 5 T3 six rounder
....Bleed...Carp!...bandage, ck,...pistol bang! bang!...bleed!...bang! bang! bang! bang!...reload?

10% infected due to a trip wire spawn....least it seemed that way...after looting a tool truck. Usually they spawn on the other side /shrugs.
So I go on a stump grinding spree. Eventually I run into some honey. Oddly enough no bees.
Happened to walk into another town, and it had one of the small coffee shops. Enter from roof, two party girls in the attic. I go back up the ladder to get ready, but one of them girls must have like my looks, and she came up the ladder while I had my inventory open.
Put a couple of arrows into her, forgot I had just made a pipe mg :/ and a pipe 9mm :/ :/, and that I am not spec'ed into knives,
And that I can run...
So run, splat get up, last drop of blood runs out.
A little over a year since my last dumb arsed episode. Obviously I havent played enough.

First play on 2.5...so far so good, I like it.
Found a Silo to perch on for D1 Evening. Fell, broke a leg.
Not enough mats for splint. Performed some crafting challenges, etc.
Kill nurse from atop silo, still needed like 1 point....not really, but ■■■■ close...to lvl 2.
Fat Albert shows up and I shoot a faraway arrow. Got the 4x, he comes to silo, put a couple more. He finds the ladder up, finally, easy target as I can just shoot top of head. Kill him, lvl 2, yay!...Figure I got down to pick up my arrows.
Missed the first step on the outside of the ladder chute. I cratered.
Back to beginning of day 1.

Lol. Yeah, getting onto a ladder that is on the outside of a building to go down can be "fun". If I miss, I try to move back toward the ladder to grab it before I hit the ground. Funny how you can walk in the air. But I've "cratered" many times as well. I love that way of describing it!

Using the same RWG, happened to spawn at the same spot. So, being familiar with my initial surroundings, I had a plan.
So, let me back up for a bit...
In the late 70s.....just hold on a minute sunny...I did not live any where near AZ, hell, the US was a distant place. At the time where I lived, there was a TV program that focused on post accident, whether automotive or otherwise, root cause investigation. What pebble started the avalanche. What really caught my ears, was a phrase. As i got older, and to date, the phrase became clear and makes absolute complete sense.
"Man is the only animal to trips over the same stone at the same spot in time and space, TWICE!"
Therefore, I headed for the same Silo as the previous D1
.
Day 2 I had to go un a stump run, it seems I am getting infected more often, or my melee skills are off. Anywho, RnGeezus conspired against me on this restart. 50 some stumps later, I get a honey, yes only 1 in 50 stumps. Got a lot of wood though :/.
As I perch for the evening, the honey effect goes away and BAM! back to 13% infected. Never had that before, still have an hour, so I make a run for Rekt, had enough to buy one jar. Gulp it, back to silo.
Within my view there is only a glowie eyed Z, the woman with the shorts and tank top. I have enough arrows, so I say "Self, ya need to bring down the Zs one at a time".
Arrow 1 4x knockdown.
Arrow two another hit.
Now at this point I expect her to come up the ladder as it is right in front, but she goes sides ways. I wait, wait nada.
Now, remember what I said up there
about the same stone?
Off I go to the silo dome to see if I can figure out her location. Got to close to edge, yep...SPLAT!...However, only a broken leg, I can live with that. I dont get attacked right away, so I figure she just lost her GPS and proceeded to wander off. I come around go up the ladder, and start assessing injury.......Red Splat!
Oh honey wore off too, red splat,
CQC club, right click, knock down, but not out, maybe arrow? Red splat,
"You are exhausted"
no, I am NOT says I.
'Yes your are'...Red Splat...anyways...
I think Zs now have cloaking device.
