I've found a tiny bit planted in the yard of a house, but no fields of them. There are enough to make just one seed, but I was hoping to find a nice big field of them. I'll search more. You just haven`t found them , yet![]()
I know where are you talking about. I meant same location, but the amount it is limited, indeed. I got more from looting. Didn`t have much time to play tho, cuz I love my job, too, but places where food is supposed to be found is a good hint to find more potatoes.I've found a tiny bit planted in the yard of a house, but no fields of them. Thank you, I'll look around more and hope to turn half of that huge cornfield into a potato field one day:smile-new:I know where are you talking about. Thank you unholyjoe! I see, I found some in loot and a little in that one poi, so I'm going to have to start a field of my own as soon as I make a base to settle down in.check the worlds/navezgane/prefabs.xml - there is no potatofield_sm in there. so yep, they are placed in a few pois but not as a field in navezgane.
Quite clever to find it outHey devs, there's a fix for skyscrapers in RWG. https://www.reddit.com/r/7daystodie/comments/a19sbz/i_figured_out_how_to_add_skyscrapers_back_to_rwg/
Also, I could suggest that it would be really nice if we had more than one sound effect for day and night, and for some more stuff like quest completion. It would be really cool if both the A16 and A17 sounds could play randomly.
best plan, have fun and good luck.Thank you unholyjoe! I see, I found some in loot and a little in that one poi, so I'm going to have to start a field of my own as soon as I make a base to settle down in.
You're glorifying the previous system. It worked exactly the same in that killing zombies was one of the fastest ways to level up, and you could end up late game with a huge arrow damage without having shot a single arrow the entire game as well. The increase in skill level you got from using them was pretty minor except for things that you'd be doing all the time (i.e. mining if you were your team's miner). Plus, they already confirmed that they're tweaking the XP gains for the different activities in a17.I feel like we've gone backwards with this whole perk/level system. Before you would be rewarded for using your abilities/tools. The best way to improve your stamina should be to do more cardio - as in doing anything that requires stamina - running/chopping wood/killing zombies. Best way to improve block damage is to damage blocks. Best way to improve arrow damage is to shoot arrows.
In the game's current state, the best way to improve an ability seems very disconnected to that ability's use and is instead just to kill zombies and level that ability. You could have huge arrow damage late game just through meleeing zombies entire game and putting skill points into arrow perk despite never having shot an arrow entire game.
I hope TFP really look into this.
link your steam account to forum account. it may help. go to your forum settings and on left side you shouls see option to link it to steam accountAny info why I still can't see other posters pics? It says I don't have permission.
Before Christmas. Probably. Is it possible we can have up update when a stable build might come out? I tried to play the unstable build and it seemed like it lagged a lot more then A16 Stable, as well as my friends wont play A17 when its unstable.
I don't think they will. Joel already responded earlier in this tread that he didn't like the system where you are forced to do things. But the A16 system had problems.I feel like we've gone backwards with this whole perk/level system. Before you would be rewarded for using your abilities/tools. happened twice to my husband when trying to join my game. Now it crashes every 10ish minutes if you're playing MP. I'm not sure how to set up a dedicated server to see if it doesn't happen. Husband is about to send his computer into the shop for 12 days anyway, hope it's fixed when it gets backSo, anyone experiencing game crash right before you enter ingame in Randomgen ? I got it everytime.
Christmas what year? :cocksure:Before Christmas. Probably.

Wasn't it the log spikes that always had the heads of zombies occluded? Except when you built them top down which was quite strange in that the log spike had no spike at a position to damage the zombies.Wiped my server, then installed latest exp. and I got floating buildings and a Moses parting the red sea...seed is KILLMENOW
I dont mind removing the stainless steel as steel is more than enough, but why were log spikes removed...the wood spikes always need repair.
Too much simplification....will ruin the game...I thought we were getting bear and deer meat back??
Have not tested it myself but zombies are supposed to not notice anything more than x blocks away (x might be 40, not sure). So if you are at bedrock it should be totally safe outside of blood moon.Have a small bit of experiance w digging z's now. While in general I like the idea, man are they fast atm! Which is in line w their 'built' block damage I suppose.
Main consequence, for me, is that now that I've spent many nights going over perk trees, I don't have much to do but wait.
Someone a few dozen pages back brought this up, and I have to agree w them. Nighttime mining seems like russion roulette w 2-3 loaded chambers; really not a sane idea, heh.
Seems to me that still exists. For example you might find a forge or workstation in the first few days, or have to wait until level 20 to build it yourself.I really miss the old books aswell. The prospect of choosing & controlling everything regarding progression and knowledge is just something I like way less than actually mixing up choosen progression with random new crafting skills. Some games it took you a while to be able to make a minibike, while sometimes you could actually go straight ahead collecting all the needed parts because you found it in the first few days.
